Pantalón Capri Pijama para mi mamá / Capri Pajama Pants for my mom
Saludos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les comparto mi gran experiencia cosiendo a máquina unos pantalones capri tipo pijama para mi mamá, la idea surgió de una manera muy espontanea porque mi mamá tenía una sabana que nunca usaba porque era de un tamaño menor que el ancho de su colchón, así que me dio la tela sin saber qué hacer con esta, así que mirándola se me ocurrió hacer unos pantalones pijama para dormir, la idea le encantó a mi mamá y con la sabana logré hacer tres, uno para mi , una para mi hermana y por supuesto el de mi mamá.
Greetings dear community, today I share with you my great experience sewing by machine some pajama capri pants for my mom, the idea came up in a very spontaneous way because my mom had a sheet that she never used because it was smaller than the width of her mattress, so she gave me the fabric without knowing what to do with it, so looking at it I got the idea to make some pajama pants to sleep, my mom loved the idea and with the sheet I managed to make three, one for me, one for my sister and of course the one for my mom.

Lo primero que hice fue hacer el molde en papel, este patrón es una modificación de patrón básico para pantalón jogger, solo agregué unos centímetros más acorde a las mediadas de mi mamá, usando el contorno de cadera con 93 cm a los cuales aumenté 2 cm para que fuera holgado, el alto de tiro mide 25cm, la salida de tiro 4,5 cm para el delantero y el doble para el patrón trasero. Este patrón es sin costuras laterales, por lo que el truco esta en doblar el papel, y hacer el molde del delantero en una capa del papel mientras que el de atrás sirve para el patrón trasero, así mismo agregue la medida de pretina donde ira cosida el elástico es de 4 cm puesto que el elástico mide 2 cm.
The first thing I did was to make the mold on paper, this pattern is a modification of the basic pattern for jogger pants, I only added a few more centimeters according to the measurements of my mom, using the hip circumference with 93 cm to which I increased 2 cm to make it loose, the high shot measures 25cm, the output of shot 4.5 cm for the front and double for the back pattern. This pattern is without side seams, so the trick is to fold the paper, and make the front mold in one layer of the paper while the back one is for the back pattern, also add the waistband measurement where the elastic will be sewn is 4 cm since the elastic measures 2 cm.---
Dibujé el patrón en la tela una vez al derecho y otra vez al revés, para que las caras de la tela estuvieran enfrentadas, asimismo agregué 1cm de borde lateral para la costura, este capri está compuesto solo por dos partes de tela.
I drew the pattern on the fabric once on the right side and once on the reverse side, so that the sides of the fabric were facing each other, I also added 1cm of side edge for the seam, this capri is composed of only two parts of fabric.---
Cosí ambas partes por el tiro del pantalón, primero con una costura recta y luego con costura tipo zigzag, porque como lo dije en un post anterior a mi maquina no le queda prolijo la costura overlock.
I sewed both parts of the pants, first with a straight seam and then with a zigzag seam, because as I said in a previous post my machine does not fit neatly with the overlock seam.---
Luego abrí la tela para separar las otras del pantalón, cosí entonces la entrepierna de la misma forma, es decir primero costura recta y luego zigzag.
I then opened up the fabric to separate the other fabrics from the pants, then sewed the crotch in the same way, i.e. first straight stitching and then zigzag stitching.---
Corté el elástico y lo cosí de forma circular luego coloqué por todo el borde de la pretina, haciendo una costura zigzag estirando el elástico mientras avanza la maquina. Luego doblé el elástico y realice una costura recta.
I cut the elastic and sewed it in a circular shape then placed it all around the edge of the waistband, making a zigzag seam stretching the elastic as the machine moves forward. Then I folded the elastic and sewed a straight seam.---
las botas doble dos veces la tela y la sujeté con alfileres y luego realicé una costura recta por todo el borde.
On the boots I folded the fabric twice and pinned it and then sewed a straight seam all around the edge.---
Resultado / Result
Los pantalones capri con esta tela para pijama quedaron realmente cómodos, mi mama está feliz y yo igual, porque además no gastamos prácticamente nada de dinero al usar la tela de la sábana.
The capri pants with this pajama fabric were really comfortable, my mom is happy and so am I, because we spent practically no money using the sheet fabric.
