Saludos, a lo mejor parecerá una locura que a mis 31 años aun tenga problemas con mis muelas cordales pero así es, solo una de abajo a brotado por completo, mientras que la otra de abajo había estado saliendo por años produciéndome mucho dolor, sin embargo este año noté algo particular, por fin una parte de mi muela salió a la superficie pero noté de inmediato que algo no estaba bien, la muela tenía suficiente espacio para salir correctamente pero no era así, le di mucho tiempo al asunto, esperaba la ocasión apropiada para ir al odontólogo, pero lamentablemente el malestar se agudizó por lo que tuve que salir hace 21 días de emergencia a una consulta. Aunque mi intención era que me la extrajeran.

Fueron malas noticias cuando al ir al consultorio de la doctora que me ha tratado por años y supe que ella no estaba haciendo extracciones de muelas porque tuvo una lesión en su mano, el día avanzaba muy rápido y yo caminando por mi ciudad, a cada sitio que iba tenía que tener previa cita, hasta que por fin encontré a una odontólogo muy amable en una edificio que sirve de centro médico privado en mi ciudad, la doctora de inmediato me inspiró confianza, ella me hizo la consulta y me dijo que no podía sacarme la muela porque necesitaba que me hiciera una radiografía panorámica para ver exactamente en qué posición estaba mi muela, porque si se encontraba acostada ella no podría extraer la muela sino que tendría que darme referencia para ir a una cirujano maxilofacial para hacerme cirugía, además me dijo que mi encía estaba muy inflamada por lo que me recetó tratamiento de antibióticos y analgésicos por 5 días y luego de ello si podría sacarme la muela, que cuando yo me hiciera la radiografía le enviara a ella la imagen, pagué mi consulta y salí de inmediato a buscar el sitio donde hace rayos x.

The X-ray will send her the image, I paid for my consultation and immediately went to look for the place where they do X-rays.
Al llegar allí tuve me dieron el precio de la radiografía y casi me desmayo, porque costaba casi lo mismo que al extracción, así que eso me desaminó un poco sin embargo debía hacerlo, me tomó mucho tiempo conseguir señal en el teléfono para hacer el pago móvil porque no tenían punto de venta, pero pude hacerlo después de casi media hora. Todo transcurrió bien a excepción de que tuve que quitarme mis piercing lo cual es algo muy incomodo de hacer, cuando vi la imagen en la computadora me di cuenta que efecto la muela no estaba para nada en su posición, estaba completamente acostada.

Investigué por internet y encontré que las muelas cordales que se encuentran acostadas se les llama “muelas impactadas”, esto me causó algo de gracia porque en realidad la muela pareciera que fuera recibido un golpe y se desmayó. Le envié la imagen por whatsapp a la doctora y ella me dijo que a pesar de que la muela estaba acostada, la raíz estaba bien por lo que ella misma podría hacerme la extracción, eso me tranquilizó un poco, sin embargo debía hacerme el tratamiento.

Las cosas no fueron buenas con el tratamiento, al parecer la mezcla de antibióticos y analgésicos no le hizo bien a mi estómago, por lo que me enfermé por varios días, asimismo me enviaron el mensaje para la vacuna contra el covid, por lo que decidí esperar más tiempo para que en dado caso de tener reacción por la vacuna estos no coincidieran con la extracción de la muela.

Finalmente le día de hoy asistí a la extracción de la muela, no contaré muchos detalles con respecto a la llegada pero la doctora comenzó el procedimiento a las 10 y terminó a 11, le tomó más tiempo de la esperado, al parecer mi muela estaba muy sujeta y estaba muy pegada a la muela próxima por lo que se le dificultaba mucho poder agarrar la muela, así que ella tomo la decisión de seccionar la muela en dos partes, es decir partirla por la mitad con el taladro y así podría extraer la corona y luego extraerá la raíz sin tener que abrir mi encía por completo, pero la corona dio mucha pelea, cada vez que la agarraba para hacer palanca y extraer, la corona se fracturaba en pedazos y ella tenía que agarrarla de nuevo por otro lado, esto pasó tantas veces que la doctora se estaba cansando, pero en una de esas fracturas se genero espacio para que decidiera extraer la raíz, esta salió sin problema y con el espacio dejado fue mucho m acomodo agarrar la corona que estaba junto a la muela de al lado.

Tuvo que inyectarme anestesia en dos ocasiones por seguridad, debido al prolongado tiempo que se llevo la extracción, pero en general estoy muy aliviada, es decir, estoy muy alegre de haberme librado de esa muela que tanto malestar me daba, no solo era la constante presión y dolor en la mandíbula, sino que me originaba dolores de cabeza muy fuertes, por eso aunque en este momento tengo aun un lado de mi cara dormido y no sé cómo será mi recuperación de la herida, estoy muy feliz y deseo compartirlo aquí con ustedes, siento que es una gran peso el que me he quitado de encima, además la doctora me explicó que mi proceso no corresponde a la edad, pero que tampoco es algo de qué preocuparse, que cuando la cordales de arriba terminen de salir, ella estará allí para ayudarme.

Que bueno amiga...hace años fui a cirugía por una de mis cordales..me dio tres meses de dolor hasta que por fin...decidí asistir a consulta y gracias a Dios todo salio muy bien....las cordales irónicamente hacen perder el juicio....jajja saludos cuídate

A mi hermana hace 2 días la operaron para extraer su cordal. Trató de salir volteada hacia la mejilla. Le dieron 2 puntos y la pobre pasó 2 días tomando solo líquido.
