Hello everyone, on this occasion, let me @ipolatjeh1988 want to share a post, and I have some of hobbies, photography, macro, traveling, and prehistoric cultivation, which I will share at a certain time.

Thank you to @LivingUKTaiwan for allowing me to participate in this community.

To express my curiosity today I took a short trip, to one of the forgotten tourist attractions, where the place is called the Blang kolam Waterfall.

This morning at 08:00 wib I called a friend and asked him to come with me to a tourist spot not too far from where I live, the distance from home to the tourist spot is about 2 hours away..
I use land transportation using my personal motorbike and ride with my friend.

journey

On the way, I really enjoyed the beautiful natural panorama, where there were many rice fields that stretched wide with ornate hills as a background.
I've been on a trip to this tourist spot and it was several years ago.

There are many rumors circulating that this waterfall tourist spot has been forgotten during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past, this tourist spot was very crowded with people who visited, to enjoy the beauty of nature where there was a very beautiful waterfall.
Not only local tourists, even foreign tourists are also present to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall.

After traveling for about 2 hours, I finally arrived at the location of the tourism place, then I parked my motorbike which had been directed by the parking attendant.
After parking then I took a parking ticket so that the vehicle was safe from loss.

A brief history of the blang kolam waterfall,
Blang kolam Waterfall is a waterfall whose existence is covered by wilderness.

This waterfall is located in northern Aceh and Lhokseumawe.
Geographically, the location of Blang kolam Waterfall is in Sidomulyo Village, Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province.

After parking the vehicle then I have to walk down the stairs which are more than 600 pieces, and it is very tiring, where the stairs have a lot of moss and are very prone to slipping and falling, I have to be careful when going down the stairs.

Down the stairs

About 15 minutes I went down the stairs, surrounded by the forest left and right and finally I arrived at a very beautiful spot,
This tiring journey has finally paid off.
I saw around the area that the place was no longer maintained, lots of fallen wood and where people were selling just abandoned without anyone taking care of it anymore.

Location spot

It's really a shame such a beautiful place, has become very slum without any treatment from the local residents, maybe because of covid-19, so visitors are not allowed to visit the place, so the impact is very, very shabby.

Economic sector during the pandemic.

Before the pandemic period, in general, the people around the waterfall area were selling various kinds of food that were provided for every visitor who came.
However, during the pandemic, people no longer sell because tourists no longer visit the area and that is a big blow for the people who inhabit the location.
For more than a year covid-19 has spread in a country that I love very much and we are all required to inject vaccines to avoid the covid-19 outbreak.

The beauty of the blang kolam waterfall

I was standing on a hill to look for a beautiful photo spot when taking a waterfall.
Here are some pictures of the waterfall that I took.

The location of the Blang kolam waterfall is really very concerning, hopefully the local government will want to re-manage this very beautiful tourism place.
Actually I wanted to take a shower at that location but the water was a little cloudy and I decided not to take a shower, then my friend and I decided to go back upstairs where I had to climb stairs of approximately 600 stairs and it was very tiring.

In the middle of the journey I was really so tired that I had to take a break to catch my breath, then I climbed back up the stairs one by one, until I reached the top.

There are two spot locations that I visited today and I will share them in the next post.
The end of the trip to the first spot at the blang kolam waterfall, look forward to the second location spot in the next post.

The location of the second spot is very beautiful and many visitors come to the place.
Look forward to the next post and I will also show you a very cool cinematic video shot.
