2021 Investment Goals - Progress report - Leo Goal Reached!

With this account I want to show that it is possible to build an online business/investment portfolio without any fiat money invested at the start.

This year I want to keep growing, using what I’ve learned in the past year. By setting goals I also want to prevent myself from spreading myself too thin or focusing on inferior goals.

These are my goals:

  • 10,000 CTP staked
    Goal reached!

  • 2000 base sim income for my dcity
    Dcity is in a tough spot, there is still a long way to go to 0,005, which is the soft-peg it should have. I have paused this goal for now.

  • 500 Leo power. The leofinance team are rolling out awesome updates constantly. I want to support that and take part in it.

  • 1000 hive power and HBD
    I am currently moving all my HBD earnings to the savings wallet for the 10% interest and as a way to take profit and hedge against the price of Hive dropping if the bull-run would end.

Passive investment tokens:

  • 250 Mpath tokens
  • 250 Dhedge tokens
  • 20 BRO
  • 25 UTOPIS

Currently my holdings are:

  • Hive Power: 812,510
  • CTP: Goal reached!
  • Leo: Goal reached!
  • Mpath: Goal reached!
  • Dhedge: Goal reached!
  • Bro: Goal reached!
  • Utopis: Goal reached!
  • HBD: 29,893

My Big Hairy Audacious Goal:

  • Road to dolphin (5000 Hive Power): 16,25%

Growth needed to reach goal by the end of the year:

  • Hive Power: 12,50 per week
  • Ctp stake: Goal reached!
  • Leo stake: Goal reached!
  • Mpath: Goal reached!
  • Dhedge: Goal reached!
  • Bro: Goal reached!
  • Utopis: Goal reached!

This week I had a huge week with my blog’s/video’s! One of them got a massive @3speak upvote and the other a massive @monster-curator upvote. Thanks a lot for that again guys! As long as I make 1-2 video’s a week along with this weekly update I should be able to reach my Hive goal before the end of the year. If I get a couple more of those big upvotes, then I should have a bit of the year left with all my goals reached.

Since I have reached the CTP goal, I am using 50% of my CTP rewards to fund my other goals. The remaining 50% will be powered up to keep increasing my CTP stake. I have now also reached my Leo goal, so I will stop buying Leo on the market and potentially use some of the Leo rewards I get to buy Hive. But I will only do that if it becomes clear that I won’t reach my Hive goal.

As I have also reached my dividends tokens goals I only have my Hive goal left.

I have did decide earlier to use my sim income from dcity to get more DHEDGE, as I have decided to pause my dcity goal. I am not selling my cards, but I am taking profit on the SIM income. If you want top do the same then all you have to do is send your SIM directly to @discohedge. You will then automatically receive Dhedge tokens in return.

I will focus now completely on achieving my Hive goal as soon as possible, but I am not converting HBD into Hive anymore. Instead I am stacking it away in savings for the 10% interest. This is for me also a way to take profit from the recent price pump of Hive and I am pondering the idea to start investing in Splinterlands assets that I will then rent out for passive income.

For the moment I am not selling any Leo to get closer to my Hive goals as I am expecting Leo to pump towards the end of the year. Anouncements of the project blank airdrop for instance will instantly pump the price. There are always people that want a bigger piece of the pie, once the price has already started to go up.

So, I am excited about the coming month’s and I will hopefully have the problem of needing to think about new goals in a few month’s :)

Thanks and no, I don’t play dcity anymore. I’m just converting all sim for dhedge or more hive on this account.

In the current state of the game it is not much fun to me. The sim price is stable, but very low so I’ve decided not to sell. Instead I hodl sim on my main account and get hive for holding that. Currently that gives an apr of about 20%.

Although I do dump some sim in the market every once in a while to be able to buy something else.

Okay, ye me2. I dont play anymore but I am also only generating 300 sim a day or so, so not that much to be put into othet tokens :p

Dhegdr is a good choice, I have started to buy some more of them

I'm excited to hear about other people's progress through the LEO community or even when talking to certain people. There is nothing more gratifying than reaching those goals and savoring success along the way. Well done, congratulations!

People that set goals and write them down to hold themselves accountable are something like 85% more likely to achieve their goals, then those that don’t.
