2021 Investment Goals - Final report - I got very close..

With this account I want to show that it is possible to build an online business/investment portfolio without any fiat money invested at the start.

In 2021 I wanted to keep growing, using what I had learned in the past year. By setting goals I also want to prevent myself from spreading myself too thin or focusing on inferior goals.

These are my goals:

• 10,000 CTP staked
  Goal reached!

• 500 Leo power. The leofinance team are rolling out awesome updates constantly. I want to support that and take part in it.
  Goal reached!

• 1000 hive power
  I am currently moving all my HBD earnings to the savings wallet for the 12% interest and as a way to take profit and hedge against the price of Hive dropping if the bull-run would end.
  Goal not reached!

Passive investment tokens:

• 250 Mpath tokens
• 250 Dhedge tokens
• 20 BRO
• 25 UTOPIS

Goals added later in the year:

• 100 HBD in savings
• $100 of splinterlands assets

2021 has been a very interesting year. We did see a big bull run, but not as big as people anticipated. The question is if there is still a bull run coming, or if we are going to see the big drop now? It will that not happen this time? Nobody knows.

Amidst all of that Hive did go up a lot and stayed there. The still much higher price than a few months ago made it significantly harder to reach my Hive power goal. I was getting a steady 7 hive per week from Risingstar, but that dropped to about 2 hive.

Also my splinterlands investment has gone down big time, so it will take some time before that gets back to the amount I invested. Reaching $100 worth of splinterlands assets is quite difficult with prices dropping. Perhaps the goal in USD is not that helpful to show the progress of my investment in the game. So I will have to rethink that for my goal for this year.

The HBD goal was also a bit too much. But I will just keep stacking.

Since I have reached the CTP goal, I am using 50% of my CTP rewards to fund my other goals. The remaining 50% will be powered up to keep increasing my CTP stake.

As I did reach my dividends tokens goals early in the year, they have already provided a nice steady passive income stream. I will certainly expand that in the new year.

I am stacking HBD in savings for the 12% interest, which is a great hedge against any potential market crash and also a good way to take ‘profits’ when we would still see a bull run in 2022.

I have also decided not to sell my Leo income, as I expect Leo to pump early in the year. Especially if that AirDrop anouncement would come for project blank.
