Any machine that collects data from you and give you a result after processing it is called a computer machine.

Input device
They are those devices that helps take in data into the computer system.

The computer doesn't understand the human language but rather converts the human language based on instructions for it to understand what is required.

This is been carried out when an input is sent to the computer.

Examples of input device are mouse, keyboard, light pen e.t.c

Anything that can take data from you into the computer system is known as input.

Processing device
Processing device are those device responsible for working on the input data given to the system.

It is done that way to enable the computer understand the type of request given to it and how to carryout such request or task.

Examples of processing device is the system unit which comprises of hardware such as processor, control unit, arithmetic and Logic unit e.t.c

Storage device
The process data has to be stored for further use. This is carried out with the aid of a storage device.

Examples of storage device includes the ram, hardisk, floppy disk e.t.c

Output device
The process data is been given out back to the computer user in the form of output. Output is the result of the processed data.

Examples of output device are your monitor, projector, printer e.t.c
