Diseñando a "Kmaleon" / Designing "Kmaleon".

El mes pasado mis amigazos de Kamaleon estuvieron de aniversario y para celebrarlo hicieron un concurso (aún está vigente). Sí, consiste en tejer un amigurumi basado en su logo.

Last month my friends from Kamaleon had their anniversary and to celebrate it they made a contest (it's still going on). Yes, it consists of knitting an amigurumi based on their logo.

Una vez visto los detalles del logo (imagen izquierda), decidí tejerlo en cuerpo completo (bocetos a la derecha, jaja). A los amigos de Kmaleon les encanta tejer amigurumi de animes y súper héroes, por eso quise que este diseño llevase una capa y una "K".

Once I saw the details of the logo (left image), I decided to knit it in full body (sketches on the right, haha). Kmaleon friends love to knit amigurumi of anime and super heroes, that's why I wanted this design to have a cape and a "K".

Cada vez que tengo listo el boceto o dibujo, siento que avancé gran parte del amigurumi, jaja. Lo siguiente es aplicar los puntos de crochet para darle forma a eso que tengo en mente.

Cierto, es la primera vez que tejo un personaje con la boca abierta, en un inicio creí que sería complicado...y si lo fue. Lo curioso aquí fue que cuando estaba lista la cabeza parecía real (según yo). Por un momento sentí eso, luego recordé que si fuese real hubiese perdido sus colores, ya que un ser vivo emite colores y muerto ya no.

Every time I have the sketch or drawing ready, I feel like I've advanced a big part of the amigurumi, haha. The next thing is to apply the crochet stitches to give shape to what I have in mind.

True, it's the first time I knit a character with an open mouth, at first I thought it would be complicated...and it was. The funny thing here was that when the head was ready it looked real (according to me). For a moment I felt that, then I remembered that if it was real it would have lost its colours, since a living being emits colours and a dead one no longer does.

En un inicio pensé bordarle los ojos (para que se parezca más al logo), luego recordé que debo seguir mi estilo y seguir mejorando.

Me encantó diseñar este llavero de súper kmaleoncito de 9cm.

At first I thought about embroidering the eyes (to make it look more like the logo), then I remembered that I have to follow my style and keep improving.

I loved designing this 9cm super kmaleon keychain.
