Amigurumi – Personajes peruanos #17: Misha, personaje inspirado en la amazonía - parte 1

Quienes me conoces saben que me encanta difundir lo mejor de la cultura peruana, sobre todo la andina...Hace un tiempo me sugirieron que también incluya la cultura de la selva amazónica.

La verdad, fueron pocas las veces que visité la selva peruana, por eso mi desconocimiento es notorio. Aunque actualmente hay alimentos los cuales consumo y por allí puedo empezar a investigar y sacar ciertos personajes.

Those who know me know that I love to spread the best of Peruvian culture, especially Andean culture... Some time ago it was suggested to me that I also include the culture of the Amazon jungle.

The truth is that I have only visited the Peruvian jungle a few times, so my lack of knowledge is notorious. Although nowadays there are foods which I eat and that's where I can start to investigate and find some characters.

Cuando pienso en la selva recuerdo la biodiversidad de fauna y flora que hay. Por ejemplo, allí los insectos son macro insectos, jaja. Las flores tienen múltiples formas, tamaños y colores. Ni que decir de la gente, hay tribus alejadas de las ciudades...es todo un misterio por conocer.

When I think of the jungle, I remember the biodiversity of flora and fauna there. For example, the insects there are macro insects, haha. The flowers come in many shapes, sizes and colours. Not to mention the people, there are tribes far from the cities... it's a mystery to be discovered.

Con este personaje quiero plasmar parte de eso, parte de la cultura amazónica, de las comunidades nativas, de gente quienes saben lo valioso que es la naturaleza y lo que obtenemos de ella.

With this character I want to capture part of that, part of the Amazonian culture, of the native communities, of people who know how valuable nature is and what we get from it.

Estoy en la mitad del diseño, espero terminar pronto. Ahora que veo la foto me doy cuenta que la diadema esta pequeña, arreglaré eso.

I'm in the middle of the design, I hope to finish soon. Now that I see the picture I realise that the headband is small, I'll fix that.
