Amigurumi – Personajes peruanos #15: Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala

Luego del amigurumay2022, estos días estaba ordenando un poco mis ideas y descansando para recuperar energías. Por cierto, ahora estoy en un nuevo reto relacionado a la cultura, lo detallaré al final.
After amigurumay2022, these days I was tidying up my ideas and resting to recover my energy. By the way, I am now in a new challenge related to culture, I will detail it at the end.
¿Quién es este personaje?
Speaking of culture, for me this character is a hero (I say "is" because heroes still live on in the memory of those of us who know him). Guaman Poma de Ayala lived between 1535 and 1616 during the time of the viceroyalty (after the conquest of Peru). He was an Indian of Inca descent, and spoke Quechua and Castilian (Spanish).
¿Cómo era en ese entonces?
En el colegio no tocan tanto este tema (al menos en los nacionales), sino creo que todos los niños quisieran ser como él.
Vamos al punto: Luego de la Conquista (caída del Imperio Incaico), hubo demasiadas atrocidades e injusticias provocadas por los españoles (los conquistadores), este periodo de caos y de "porque yo lo digo" (es decir, ellos mandaban) se llama Virreinato.
At school they don't touch on this subject so much (at least in the national schools), otherwise I think all children would want to be like him.
Let's get to the point: After the Conquest (fall of the Inca Empire), there were too many atrocities and injustices caused by the Spaniards (the conquistadors), this period of chaos and "because I said so" (i.e. they were in charge) is called the Viceroyalty.
¿Por qué es conocido?
El Caos en ese entonces era tanto y en todo el Perú (atrocidades, esclavitud, torturas, miedos impuestos, enfermedades, sufrimiento, abuso de autoridad, robos de terrenos y todo tipo de robos, mentiras, muertes, entre otros) , que no había quién pusiera un "alto" a todo eso.
Guaman Poma de Ayala tuvo una idea muy chévre, la de enviar una carta al rey de España, Felipe III, denunciando los malos tratos ejercidos por sus colegas. Para esto, escribió un manuscrito "Primera Nueva Crónica y Buen Gobierno" donde contó lo que se estaba viviendo en esa época, aunque lo más resaltante aquí fueron sus dibujos (medio de expresión que dice más que mil palabras). En resumen y para terminar, este manuscrito fue encontrado en 1908 en la Biblioteca Real de Copenhague y fue presentado a la comunidad científica internacional en 1912.
There was so much chaos in Peru at that time (atrocities, slavery, torture, imposed fear, disease, suffering, abuse of authority, land theft and all kinds of robberies, lies, deaths, etc.) that there was no one to put a "stop" to it all.
Guaman Poma de Ayala had a very cool idea, which was to send a letter to the King of Spain, Philip III, denouncing the mistreatment of his colleagues. For this, he wrote a manuscript "Primera Nueva Crónica y Buen Gobierno" (First New Chronicle and Good Government) in which he recounted what was happening at the time, although the most remarkable thing here were the drawings (a means of expression that says more than a thousand words). In summary and in conclusion, this manuscript was found in 1908 in the Royal Library in Copenhagen and was presented to the international scientific community in 1912.

Desde que lo conocí (el año pasado, jaja) me encantó y dije "este es el héroe peruano", nada de Marvel y eso, jaja. Espero tejer pronto uno de tamaño mediano para agregarle su perro (amigo fiel). Sobre el apellido Ayala leí dos versiones, en ambos casos este se le fue añadido: 1. Fue adoptado de Luis Avalos de Ayala y 2. Su papá heredó este apellido de su patrón. ¡Buenas vibras!.

Muchas gracias. El concurso de #raicesargenticasCAL inició hace 2 semanas, consiste en tejer 3 personajes de los 6 o 7 que darán las diseñadoras. Hasta el momento ya publicaron 4 patrones. Como todo concurso tiene reglas y un premio. Sería bueno que cada país hiciera eso, no solo en amigurumi, sino de manualidades en general con varias categorías. Así aprenderíamos más de las culturas, al menos de América Latina y México, quienes somos más unidos, jaja. ¡Buenas vibras!.

Muchas gracias por comentar. Lo mejor es que Guaman Poma de Ayala fue real y sus ilustraciones lo dicen todo. Cuando investigué (aún sigo investigando) sobre este personaje hubo algo que pensé, y fue que todos los cronistas fueron españoles (porsiacaso no tengo nada en contra de los españoles actualmente). Un profesor del colegio dijo: "la historia de las guerras tiene dos versiones distintas, una contada por los vencedores y otra por los derrotados". Por eso me encantó descubrir a este personaje y darle más sentido a esta realidad y el comportamiento de la gente, entre muchas otras cosas. ¡Buenas vibras!.

Muchas gracias. La verdad no me agradan las películas de los héroes "ficticios" de la actualidad, sobre todo por los intereses que hay detrás y no importándole al público al que van dirigidos (es una apreciación personal). Creo que deberíamos rescatar a los héroes "reales", al menos de los barrios o pequeñas ciudades, porque si bien no podemos mejorar/ salvar el mundo, sí podemos mejorar nuestro pequeño entorno. Es hora que las buenas noticias sean escuchadas y/o vistas cada mañana...aunque sean difíciles de encontrarlas. ¡Que sigan las buenas vibra!.
si, hay muchas cosas de la historia que olvidamos, que jamas nos contaron y grandes heroes con historias no contadas, seria genial tener mas opciones en el cine y la tv

Hi. In truth, so little is known about this character that his life is not so widely known. According to some historians there are contradictions and he is not taken seriously. It would be good if there was a congress or a huge meeting where this subject would be discussed.
