Amigurumi #152: Cachorro de león _ Proceso creativo / Lion cub _ creative process

Últimamente estoy demorando en publicar porque cada vez mi Windows está más y más lento. Con decirles que esta publicación estaba para subirla el lunes, jaja. Por estos meses si no estoy tan seguido por aquí (por motivos ajenos a mí), sí lo estaré por instagram.

Lately I've been taking longer and longer to post because my Windows is getting slower and slower. Just to tell you that this post was supposed to be uploaded on Monday, haha. For these months if I'm not so often on here (for reasons beyond my control), I will be on instagram.

¡Comencemos con este cachorro!

Let's start with this puppy!

Cuando me pidieron un leoncito cachorro, me encantó la idea de tejerlo. Hace un buen tiempo que cuando me piden algo que no he tejido antes ya no me fijo en imágenes referenciales de amigurumi, sino en la imagen real. Es allí donde tomo las características principales (en este caso del león cachorro) y las plasmo dando como resultado el amigurumi.

When I was asked to make a lion cub, I loved the idea of knitting it. For a while now, when I've been asked to knit something I haven't knitted before, I don't look at amigurumi reference images, but at the real image. It is there where I take the main characteristics (in this case of the lion cub) and shape them into the amigurumi.

Todo bien con el cuerpo, aunque al momento de colocarle las orejas parecía un canguro, jaja. Otro punto fue la melena del león. Para esto utilicé cadenetas de un color más oscuro que la piel. Nótese al momento de insertar la melena a la cabeza, utilicé un crochet más fino (menor a 2mm), esto realmente ayuda.

All good with the body, although when I put the ears on it looked like a kangaroo, haha. Another point was the lion's mane. For this I used chains of a darker colour than the fur. Note that when inserting the mane to the head, I used a thinner crochet (less than 2mm), this really helps.

Este es el resultado del cachorro de león o jovenzuelo. Me encanta bordar las cejitas, siento que le da un toque de distinción a mi trabajo.

This is the result of the lion cub or youngster, haha. I love embroidering the eyebrows, I feel it gives a touch of distinction to my work.
