Amigurumi #142: Llavero de banana - video tutorial / Banana key chain

La verdad no recuerdo la última vez que probé una banana o plátano, solo recuerdo haber comido la mitad, esto debido a su alto contenido de carbohidratos (azúcares del tipo "fructosa")...sí por eso tiene un sabor dulce al paladar (ojo con eso).

I don't really remember the last time I tasted a banana or plantain, I only remember eating half of it, due to its high carbohydrate content (fructose sugars)...yes that's why it tastes sweet to the palate (be careful with that).

Cambiando de tema, estas bananitas fueron un pedido numeroso. Al inicio tejí 2 prototipos para ver cuál quedaría. Otro dato aquí fue que al buscar imágenes de referencia observé varias bananas con la base verde claro. Luego recordé cuando comía bananas y noté que la parte verde por lo general está arriba y al pelarla no debería notarse. Al ser prototipos puedo realizar cambios normal (felizmente).

Changing the subject, these bananas were a big order. At the beginning I knitted 2 prototypes to see which one would fit. Another fact here was that when I was looking for reference images I noticed several bananas with a light green base. Then I remembered when I used to eat bananas and I noticed that the green part is usually on top and when peeled it shouldn't be noticeable. As they are prototypes I can make normal changes (happily).

Ambos modelos fueron elegidos, es decir mitad con ojos bordados y mitad con ojos de seguridad. Iba darle la opción de que guiñe el ojo, aunque luego lo pensé mejor.

Both models were chosen, i.e. half with embroidered eyes and half with security eyes. I was going to give him the option of winking, but then thought better of it.

Lo curioso de este diseño es que la parte comestible de la banana está tejido al revés para que quede bien formado (banana derecha) comparándolo cuando lo tejí normal y luego voltearlo (banana izquierda). Además, las hojas quise que se asemejen a las reales, tal como se les ve en el campo de banano.

The funny thing about this design is that the edible part of the banana is woven upside down so that it is well formed (right banana) compared to when I wove it normal and then flipped it over (left banana). Also, I wanted the leaves to resemble the real ones, just as you see them in the banana field.

Al inicio creí que esto sería sencillo, luego recuerdo haber estado contando las unidades a cada rato y curiosamente me faltaba uno cada vez que contaba...jaja.

At first I thought this was going to be easy, then I remember counting the units all the time and oddly I was missing one every time I counted...haha.
