Encuentro de talentos/El talento un regalo.[Esp-Eng]

Feliz y bendecido día, un gusto volver a publicar en esta maravillosa comunidad, la amiga @angelica7 , esta semana nos trae un tema que lleva por título "El talento un regalo", aquí les dejo mi participación sobre esta interesante iniciativa.

Hay personas que nacen con un talento especial y otras que lo van perfeccionando gracias a su constante práctica y dedicación que ponen en ello, yo pienso que todos tenemos un don aunque a veces están muy ocultos que hasta nos atrevernos a decir que no tenemos talentos, porque vemos personas que son muy buenas en varias facetas como por ejemplos en la pintura, baile, canto, manualidades, etc y cómo uno no ha alcanzado ningún éxito o logro decimos que carecemos de talentos sin embargo eso no es así porque aunque no se vean a todos nos han dado la bendición de regalarnos talentos.

En mi adolescencia yo tenía una pasión por el fútbolito hasta me atrevo a decir que tenía talento para jugar, jugué como por dos años en competencia del liceo y en campeonatos por mi casa, yo tenía técnica y no era mala, chutaba bien ese balón y metía mis goles y hasta patadas recibí, pero al terminar el bachillerato no tuve donde jugar y aún el fútbol femenino no tenía ese auge como en estos momentos allí quedó mi talento sin explotar, ya a estás alturas de mi vida no puedo, pero me hubiese gustado participar en esos campeonatos de fútbol, pero lamentablemente no se dió, y pensé que no contaba con más talento porque creía que solo los grandes logros eran considerado como talentos, pero uno va descubriendo que uno tiene habilidades para otras cosas, por decir yo era buena también para memorizar una canción con solo escucharla una sola vez, también me aprendía rápidamente una clase para un examen, tenía facilidad para hacer amigos, me gusta mucho servir y ayudar siempre en lo que pueda.

Hoy en día me aplico un poco más en la cocina inventando platos para agradar a la familia, estoy compartiendo aquí mis escritos en esta maravillosa comunidad junto a muchos talentosos que cada semana nos comparte sus historias, y cada día uno va descubriendo cosas que uno misma ni sabía que era capaz de hacer aunque no les niego que en estos momentos desearía tener una buena voz para poder cantar en el coro de la iglesia, pero ese regalo no me lo dieron, me tocó conformarme con cantar pero desde mi banqueta, pero eso es también válido porque mientras uno hace lo que a uno le gusta con amor y que nos llene de satisfacción eso se considera un gran logro.

Esta ha sido mi participación en esta interesante iniciativa, esperando que todos podamos contar y descubrir el maravilloso regalo del talento que Dios nos ha concedido, muchas gracias por leer y bendiciones, hasta la próxima semana.

Happy and blessed day! It’s a pleasure to be posting again in this wonderful community. Our friend @angelica7 brings us a topic this week titled “Talent: A Gift.” Here’s my contribution to this interesting initiative.

Some people are born with a special talent, while others hone theirs through constant practice and dedication. I believe we all have a gift, even though sometimes it’s so hidden that we even go so far as to say we have no talents,  because  we see people who are very good at various things, such as painting, dancing, singing, crafts, etc., and since we haven’t achieved any success or accomplishments, we say we lack talent. However, that’s not true, because even if they aren’t visible, we’ve all  been blessed with talents.

When I was a teenager, I was passionate about soccer—I’d even go so far as to say I had a knack for the game. I played for about two years in high school competitions and in local tournaments. I had good technique and wasn’t bad at all; I could kick the ball well and score goals, and I even got some kicks myself. But when I finished high school, I had nowhere to play, and women’s soccer wasn’t as popular back then as it is now. So there my talent went, untapped. At this point in my life, I can’t play anymore, but I would have loved to participate in those soccer tournaments, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. I thought I didn’t have any other talents because I believed that only major achievements were considered talents, but you gradually discover that you have skills for other things. For example, I was also good at memorizing a song after hearing it just once; I could also quickly study for a test; I made friends easily; and I really enjoy serving others and helping out whenever I can.

These days I’m putting a little more effort into cooking, coming up with dishes to please my family. I’m sharing my writing here in this wonderful community alongside many talented people who share their stories with us every week, and every day I discover things I didn’t even know I was capable of doing—though I won’t deny that right now I wish I had a good singing voice so I could sing in the church choir, but I wasn’t given that gift;  I had to settle for singing from my pew, but that’s valid too, because as long as you  do what you love with love and it fills you with satisfaction, that’s considered a great achievement.

This has been my contribution to this interesting initiative. I hope that we can all share and discover the wonderful gift of talent that God has given us. Thank you very much for reading, and God bless you all. See you next week.
