Silent blog: out of the war zone for short period

Hi, guys!

I have not written a single post in 18 days, and today I want to tell you how it happened.

I haven't had a normal vacation in more than 7 years. All this time I really dreamed of going to the sea, no matter where. I just really love the sound of the surf and somersaults in salt water. And then, quite unexpectedly, in the midst of the war, I had such an opportunity.

I was very worried, so much so that in fact, for a whole week before leaving, I could not do anything at all. I have almost never traveled alone before, and this is a huge stress for me. But now it seems that I coped with everything, although it was very difficult.

I chose Bulgaria because it was the easiest and closest to Ukraine. As you can imagine, planes are not flying now, so I had to look for an alternative way to get to the place. The train would have been better, but it turned out that the only way to get there was by bus. And this is the point at which the real hell began.

I already knew that I was sick on buses, and besides, it’s very bad for me if I break my sleep schedule, and even more so if I miss taking medication (the latter instantly destroys my sleep schedule, due to mental characteristics, I can’t sleep without pills ). And then I got everything at once in one hand.

The bus had to go a day, even more. The departure was in the morning, so all customs had to be passed at night. I stayed up all night before leaving and all night on the bus. Two nights is too long. But even before the second night. After about 8 hours of travel, I already wrote to my husband that I love him and love the dog, because I was almost sure that I simply would not live to the end of the road, it was so bad for me.

After arriving in Bulgaria, it took me another 4 days to somehow recover. It's good that my planned rest is quite long, otherwise it would be very disappointing to spend half the time just to stop you from constantly throwing up. Horror.

Now I feel a little better, I started to shape my lifestyle for the next 4 weeks. I plan to draw a lot and hope to be able to show fresh work soon.

A few flowers from Kyiv in the end:
