Inking gentle leaves

Today, for the first time, I tried to transfer my botanical sketches to watercolor paper so that I can continue to work with them in color. So far I like how everything turned out, I want to believe that after adding color everything will be fine.

I noticed an interesting detail. It is much more convenient to work with a liner that is almost dead, the movements are more accurate. Therefore, now I work fresh in a sketchbook, in which I only develop ideas, and those that are almost finished I do the final work. This turns out to be very convenient. And even if it seems that the liner has already ended, usually the next day they can safely continue to work and create another picture.

In the future, I plan to add a watercolor background here, something like blue and pink splashes. I think one of these days I will be able to show what I ended up with:
