Poetry for breakfast

Today my breakfast consists of rice cakes and exhaustion

That isn't true, but the truth is,

Today my breakfast consists of a spoonful of peanut butter
The leftover oatmeal from my child's breakfast
Orange Pekoe Tea
and exhaustion
