Hello friends, I've discovered this community, so I've decided to share some of my bike rides here, maybe to help you discover some beautiful routes in Italy, which sometimes I also explore for the first time. Fortunately, the love for cycling among people is continually growing in my country, so new cycle paths are always being considered.

So, I'll definitely share my experiences here, and I hope the whole community enjoys them. Today, in particular, I want to share an experience I had a few weeks ago but never had time to share. It's about a new cycle path from Trento to Pergine. We're in Trentino Alto Adige, a beautiful region that I love so much, and whenever I have the chance, I try to vacation here.

Unfortunately, this cycle path hasn't been fully completed yet, but you can see from the photos I took with my two great friends, Fabrizio and Massimo, that part of it is already open. By the way, my friend Massimo has a handbike for disabled individuals because he unfortunately had a serious motorcycle accident many years ago, and it was there that his passion for cycling was born.

Anyway, that day, we covered the first 4 km, which had been completed several months ago. In theory, when this cycle path is fully completed, it will be about 20 km long, providing a completely safe route, as you can partly see from the photos.

It's a very beautiful cycle path because, apart from being safe (as cyclists are protected from cars), it practically follows the road and even passes through several tunnels. The only thing is, one needs to be somewhat fit because there's a bit of elevation gain of about 200 meters from the start to the end of the path.

Unfortunately, I was quite tired that day because I was a bit out of shape. However, I still managed to take some photos of the beautiful scenery that can be admired along the route of this cycle path.

In the end, I can say that I was really satisfied with having ridden this cycle path, and I can't wait for it to be completed. Naturally, for those who don't cycle, it's also suitable for walking since it's also pedestrian-friendly. I'll definitely share more experiences with my friends on other cycle paths, and I hope you enjoy these photos anyway.

Thank you for reading; it's great that there's this community to share the passion that unites us, which is cycling. See you soon, friends!

Hello and welcome to the community.
I was on holiday at the Garda lake in Italy last summer and did some nice rides in the area there. I was surprised there were quite some bicycle paths there. It's nice to see they invest in bicycle infrastructure in Italy too.

I'm glad you came on holiday on the lake, it's a place I love, by 2026 they should build a large cycle path that gives you the opportunity to go around the lake completely

It really is lovely there. We were on the west sife of the lake near Salò. I've made some nice and heavy rides in the hills there with a beautiful view on the lake.
A cycling path all the way around the lake? That's really cool!
