¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña de todos los días lunes y para elegir la temática del día de hoy, es decir, la banda o artista de quién les hablaré hoy, me los topé de casualidad al verlos en una camisa; este hecho me trajo un montón de recuerdos hermosos y dolorosos con su música y quise traerlos el día de hoy.
Hoy les hablaré sobre el Grupo Camila.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic review of every Monday and to choose the theme of today, that is, the band or artist who I will talk about today, I stumbled upon them by chance when I saw them on a shirt; this fact brought me a lot of beautiful and painful memories with their music and I wanted to bring them today.
Today I will talk to you about Grupo Camila.
Camila o Grupo Camila como se les conoce, son una banda nacida en la Ciudad de México, conformada por los músicos Mario Domínguez Zarzar (Mario Domm), Samuel Parra Cruz y Pablo Hurtado, se dedicaron a hacer música pop rock con temáticas dedicadas específicamente al mundo del amor en todas sus etapas.
Creo que toda persona latinoamericana tuvo que haber escuchado al menos una canción de ellos en su infancia, yo particularmente siempre los escuchaba en un canal de televisión conocido en Venezuela como HTV, cada vez que estaba desayunando para ir a clases me aparecían sus vídeos así que era inevitable el conocerlos, ahora les hablaré de mis temas favoritos de ellos y el por qué.
Camila or Grupo Camila as they are known, are a band born in Mexico City, formed by musicians Mario Domínguez Zarzar (Mario Domm), Samuel Parra Cruz and Pablo Hurtado, they were dedicated to making pop rock music with themes dedicated specifically to the world of love in all its stages.
I think that every Latin American person had to have heard at least one song of theirs in his childhood, I particularly always listened to them on a TV channel known in Venezuela as HTV, every time I was having breakfast to go to class their videos appeared so it was inevitable to know them, now I will tell you about my favorite songs of theirs and why.
1.- Todo Cambió
Este creo que es el tema que lanzó a esta banda al estrellato absoluto, es como una especie de himno nacional que cualquier persona en algún momento tuvo que haber escuchado, yo personalmente suelo hacerles covers cuando canto en vivo y todo, fue una de las primeras canciones que dominé en la guitarra.
La letra de esta canción la he llegado a dedicar un par de veces en mi vida y significó demasiado para mí, inclusive me trae recuerdos de cuando estaba pequeño a punto de ir al colegio y ver siempre este vídeo en el HOT RANKING de HTV que eran 21 vídeos diarios que ganaban en ese top, este siempre estaba entre los 5 mejores, una locura total.
This I think is the song that launched this band to absolute stardom, it's like a kind of national anthem that anyone at some point had to have heard, I personally usually cover them when I sing live and everything, it was one of the first songs I mastered on the guitar.
The lyrics of this song I have come to dedicate a couple of times in my life and it meant too much to me, it even brings back memories of when I was little about to go to school and always see this video in the HTV HOT RANKING which were 21 videos a day that won in that top, this one was always in the top 5, total madness.
2.- Aléjate de Mí
Esta es una de las canciones más dolorosas que pude haber escuchado de este grupo, sobretodo por el contexto en el que se encontraba mi vida, estaba pasando por una ruptura amorosa como buen niño de 16 años enamorado y obviamente necesitaba auxiliarme en la música y resulta que la chica de la que estaba enamorado me dedicó esta canción y yo no supe cómo reaccionar.
Cuando era pequeño pensé que era una canción que mostraba un lado sincero de una persona cuando dice que puede ser nociva para otra y lo acepta abiertamente, pero luego al crecer, me di cuenta de que ese tipo de comportamiento existe pero es exageradamente tóxico así que agradezco realmente que no estuve con esa chica en aquél entonces, sin embargo, la canción aún resuena en mis emociones, me lleva a ese momento llorando en mi habitación escuchándola a todo volúmen.
This is one of the most painful songs I could have listened to from this group, especially because of the context in which my life was, I was going through a love breakup as a good 16 year old boy in love and obviously I needed to help myself in music and it turns out that the girl I was in love with dedicated this song to me and I didn't know how to react.
When I was little I thought it was a song that showed a sincere side of a person when they say they can be harmful to another and openly accept it, but then as I grew up, I realized that this kind of behavior exists but it is overly toxic so I am really thankful I wasn't with that girl back then, however, the song still resonates in my emotions, it takes me back to that moment crying in my room listening to it at full volume.
3.- De Mí
Esta es mi canción favorita en toda la historia de mi fanatismo con este grupo mexicano; cuando la escuché por primera vez fue en la televisión, jústamente en el mismo canal donde siempre veía el primer tema que coloqué en esta reseña.
El vídeo es increíblemente hermoso, el concepto, los colores y más allá de todo eso, la musicalidad, la armonía, la letra, simplemente todo en esta canción es perfecta, no puedo pedir más, así que solo los invito que le den click al botón de play y prepárense para escuchar 5 minutos hermosos de genialidad.
This is my favorite song in the whole history of my fanaticism with this Mexican group; when I heard it for the first time it was on TV, exactly in the same channel where I always saw the first song I put in this review.
The video is incredibly beautiful, the concept, the colors and beyond all that, the musicality, the harmony, the lyrics, simply everything in this song is perfect, I can't ask for more, so I just invite you to click the play button and get ready to listen to 5 beautiful minutes of genius.
Bonus Track.- Bésame
De las canciones que más he cantado en mi vida está esta y debo decir que realmente fue un logro abismal para mí cuando pude cantarla sin errores, porque eso implicó que realmente mi calidad como cantante y mi técnica había mejorado a niveles exponenciales, entonces fue como un antes y un después.
Esta es una de las letras más hermosas que conocí de este grupo y siento que no tiene pérdida en absoluto.
Of the songs I have sung the most in my life is this one and I must say that it really was an abysmal achievement for me when I was able to sing it without mistakes, because that really meant that my quality as a singer and my technique had improved to exponential levels, so it was like a before and after.
This is one of the most beautiful lyrics that I knew of this group and I feel that it is absolutely without loss.
