¡3 canciones para empezar la semana con energía! | Esteman | [ESP | ENG]
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi reseña clásica de cada semana con 3 canciones para comenzar la misma con la mejor energía posible; como sabrán, en mi reseña pasada tuve una idea de comenzar a hacer reseñas sobre artistas específicos en lugar de géneros musicales.
Y para amenizar de la mejor manera esta reseña, hoy decido hablar sobre un artista que me fascina demasiado desde hace muchísimo tiempo y que verdaderamente pasó de ser un simple meme que conseguí por internet a ser una persona con un talento muy épico y con un concepto que me encanta.
Hoy les quiero hablar sobre Esteman.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you my classic weekly review with 3 songs to start the week with the best possible energy; as you may know, in my last review I had an idea to start reviewing specific artists instead of music genres.
And to liven up this review in the best way, today I decide to talk about an artist that fascinates me too much since a very long time ago and that truly went from being a simple meme that I got from the internet to being a person with a very epic talent and with a concept that I love.
Hoy les quiero hablar sobre Esteman.
1.- No Te Metas A Mi Facebook
Esteman es un artistazo proveniente de la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia, lo conocí a raíz de esta canción conocida como No Te Metas A Mi Facebook, la cuál llegó a mí a raíz de que un amigo mío la vió en Youtube y le gustó muchísimo porque en esa época fue donde el Facebook ya era un estándar en la vida de las personas a nivel de redes sociales, entonces fue un tema que cayó como anillo al dedo de la sociedad.
Ahora, más allá del hecho de que fue un excelente vídeo viral, Esteman supo preservar su esencia particular y concepto para mantenerse activo creando más música y demostrar que no sería un caso más de artistas que se viralizan con una sola canción y luego no suenan más.
Esteman is a great artist from the city of Bogota, Colombia, I met him because of this song known as No Te Metas A Mi Facebook, which came to me because a friend of mine saw it on Youtube and liked it a lot because at that time was where Facebook was already a standard in the lives of people at the level of social networks, then it was a theme that fell like a finger on the finger of society.
Now, beyond the fact that it was an excellent viral video, Esteman knew how to preserve its particular essence and concept to stay active creating more music and show that it would not be a case of artists who go viral with a single song and then do not sound more.
2.- Baila
Siempre me pareció que la voz de Esteman se parecía muchísimo a la voz del vocalista de la banda pop argentina conocida como Miranda!, tienen unas matices bastante parecidas pero más allá de su voz particular al momento de hacer música, lo que más me parece épico de Esteman es su talento y su flow para bailar.
En esta canción nos muestra todo su talento al combinar diferentes estilos de danza en un mismo vídeo para explicar que a veces lo único que necesitamos es bailar para olvidarnos de todo.
Siempre me pareció que la voz de Esteman se parecía muchísimo a la voz del vocalista de la banda pop argentina conocida como Miranda!, tienen unas matices bastante parecidas pero más allá de su voz particular al momento de hacer música, lo que más me parece épico de Esteman es su talento y su flow para bailar.
In this song he shows us all his talent by combining different dance styles in the same video to explain that sometimes all we need is to dance to forget about everything.
3.- True Love ft Monsieur Periné
Si creían que la epicidad de Esteman llegaba solo hasta el punto de componer y bailar, pues no, resulta que también es muy bueno para los idiomas, ya que tiene canciones en diversos idiomas, como esta por ejemplo que está completamente en inglés y debo decirles que aunque yo soy bilingüe (español-inglés) todavía no me he atrevido a escribir mi primera canción en inglés porque siento que todavía me falta algo de mística para poder hacerlo.
No es para nada sencillo el hecho de poder tener un buen contexto detrás de una letra en otro idioma que no sea tu idioma materno porque más allá de la teoría, necesitas esa pizca «instintiva» para que la letra tenga magia y no sea solo rimar por rimar, él lo tiene, y demasiado natural.
If you thought that Esteman's epicness reached only to the point of composing and dancing, well no, it turns out that he is also very good at languages, as he has songs in several languages, like this one for example which is completely in English and I must tell you that although I am bilingual (Spanish-English) I have not yet dared to write my first song in English because I feel that I still lack some mystique to be able to do it.
It is not at all easy to be able to have a good context behind a lyric in another language that is not your mother tongue because beyond the theory, you need that "instinctive" touch so that the lyric has magic and it is not just rhyming for the sake of rhyming, he has it, and it is too natural.
Bonus Track.- De Otro Planeta
Para finalizar esta reseña, traigo mi canción favorita de toda la historia de mi fanatismo con Esteman, siento que esta canción me ha definido demasiadas veces en mi vida con personas, con momentos, con lugares, esta canción me regaló demasiadas respuestas cuando más las necesitaba y más allá de eso, siento que es mi favorita porque además muestra demasiado el estilo que me gusta, colorido y bohemio loco.
Además, tiene una frase que me encanta muchísimo: «No tengo la pinta de macho cabrón, pues con mi esqueleto te seduzco yo» porque a nivel personal, yo siempre tuve complejos y frustraciones por haber sido tan delgado en mi infancia, luego entendí que en primer lugar es parte de mi adn ser así de delgado y en segundo lugar que realmente no debo avergonzarme de mi cuerpo y disfrutarlo y quererlo como es.
Hoy en día he trabajado muchísimo mi autoestima y mi confianza y siento que estoy en la cúspide en este momento en ese aspecto, esa canción fue el primer paso para ello.
To finish this review, I bring my favorite song of all the history of my fanaticism with Esteman, I feel that this song has defined me too many times in my life with people, with moments, with places, this song gave me too many answers when I needed them most and beyond that, I feel it is my favorite because it also shows too much the style that I like, colorful and crazy bohemian.
It also has a phrase that I love very much: "I don't look like a macho bastard, because with my skeleton I seduce you" because on a personal level, I always had complexes and frustrations for having been so thin in my childhood, then I understood that first of all it is part of my dna to be so thin and secondly that I really should not be ashamed of my body and enjoy it and love it as it is.
Today I have worked a lot on my self-esteem and confidence and I feel that I am on the cusp at the moment in that aspect, that song was the first step for that.
