Light scattering at Dusk
Seeing the sky at twilight always gives its own meaning and impression. I have always been interested in seeing dusk at both times, at sunset and dawn at sunrise.
This made me sometimes look for answers myself through reading natural science books, until then, I was in college and I was completely immersed in material that discussed the ins and outs of Optics and Waves.
In short, at sunset, the sun's position is in a low position, therefore, the sunlight that reaches our eyes has to pass through a lot of atmospheres, this will scatter the sunlight and affect the blue light spectrum.
The scattering of light is also affected by dust, smoke and other particles in the air.
This is one of the reasons why I love natural sciences. There are always plausible reasons to explain natural phenomena.
The following are some pictures that I think illustrate how amazing the universe around us is. I picked it up on my way home.
