WEEK 142 - Weekend-Engagement initiative:I need a vehicle I will drive

It is lovely to pick one of the interesting topic in this weekend engagement. @galenkp had made it more easier for anyone who is thinking of what to write on weekend to come over to weekend experience community and pick one. Here is it for this week link

I need a car i will drive by myself.

I choosed this topic from one his suggestion to choose autonomous vehicle or the one you will drive.

Automated or manual: Would you rather...
If you could choose to have an autonomous vehicle or one you had to drive yourself which would you choose?

Automated vehicle is the one that can drive itself without your direction. Although it is enjoying and stress free I am not going for it. I am going for the one i will drive by myself. Why could be the question.

Manual car

In my country Nigeria, we have good roads. But the traffic in it is much. When you are driving, you need to be extremely careful so that no body will hit you or you hit another person.

There is no different road for big truck, taxi, bycicle or motorcycles. One road for all this. I know how difficult it is to drive on it every day so autonomous vehicle will not really serve me well on road like this.

In a situation like this, i can think of another road to follow. Drive to where i want to. I can even use track road as long as is motorable.

_{People love selling along the road in my country}

Nigeria is a country where people believe that if their market is not on the road, they will not make good sales. In fact, ministry of environment will send task force to push them out of the road. They will put rop, mark line asking them not to cross it. For where, in just 2 days, they will come to the main road again to sell.

Even though many people have lost their lives because of selling along the road still many are coming to the main road. Like the picture you are seeing here, it is a truck that is carrying bamboo stick. The driver was trying to branch to Mbak road and those selling fruits were blocking the road. While he was trying to avoid them, he fell down. We thank God, no life lost.

This and many other reasons is why I don't want autonomous vehicle because. It may not really fit in where I live. I need to drive my vehicle myself so that I will know how to navigate my way when the road is too tight or when there is danger.
