We did it, my node made it into the top 100 witnesses.
A fellow brazilian witness has helped me a lot so shoutout to @fernandosoder now we have two brazilian witnesses at the top 100.
The difference is very small. Now as a witness I get 2 blocks a day. Regarding that, I am not selling the Hive power I get because I pre paid my node and I still have 6+ months. I will probably be able to renew with money of my own since I value having Hive Power. I am still voting for a 15% yield for HBD saving. I will also keep leveraging the power o @ecency points for the campaign.
If you do care about governance, remember to once in a while cast a new vote or remove a vote so that your votes don't expire! (new change form HF25)
Brazil is a mess currently, the president is threatening a coup and although I am not an activist, Hive is important for those who are. Having another node in the top 100 over here is a relatively small (since we are an oligarchy of 20 main block producers) but meaningful gesture.

what do you do to rise to the top 100?
The top 100 only requires you to be active and engage with the communities. Took a few months and I am here.
But the more you grow the harder it is. I am a programmer and I think Hive needs programmers, so as soon as I have free time I will start coding tools and helping people develop code to make Hive better and that is my strategy to jeep growing by working.
For I am gathering ideas and preparing. I hope to tale a 10 day vacation this year to see what can I build and hopefully that will keep the growing momentum.
So the top 100 just needs you to interact, engage and be active socially, achieved that on a few months. From there on is when the challenge begin.
