I am extremely pessimistic about how will the economy go in the next couple of months or even years, but despite all the pessimism, HIVE gives us hope.

If the price can show resilience against the uncertain times we are in, we might see our beloved currency become an hedge against the downturn of global markets.

Hive is much more than a social network, so it actually has the potential to worth even more than Facebook. It just needs good developers. Good application and video game developers. With true item ownership, this could be the future of gaming.

I don't truly expect it to be a hedge against the volatility but I do expect it to grow in the long term as more and more developers discover the magic of this blockchain.

Especially video game developers. This technology has so much potential. If there will be real and good video games on the Hive blockchain, then the demand for Hive will greatly increase, and the value of the Hive could be dozens of dollars. Maybe even hundreds. Just imagine a video game like Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Forza Horizon and others on the Hive blockchain. All with NFTs and with other things.
