Congratulations to everyone that managed to get their hands on some Punks! I would have bought at least one, to use as a profile picture, but I couldn't because I did not have liquid Hive.

You could mint punks on Hive for 20 HIVE during Hive Fest. I am converting some HBD to HIVE but still I did not have it liquid, all of my HIVE is powered up in HP.

I am not "aping" into it for now, even if I get liquid, because I want to see how the project evolves. Buying one during the sale and for cheap was one thing, I would have a sure use for it (as a profile picture) and it was cheaper, but now the prices are likely gonna go up.

I have my fair share of criticism of apps built on Hive because they can't have decentralized logic. The only thing Hive does is store data and, when it comes to custom data (like custom JSON for games) Hive itself does not validate, it just stores and it is up to a third-party centralized server to validate it all.

I wish the best for Punks on Hive, and I have one wish:

Make everything open source. Because logic on Hive can't be baked into the blockchain, it is important that every and anyone can run it.
