MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 6: 17/01/22

Here is my reaction to the Mass indoctrination day 6;

1. I learnt about prayer and how it works, it is very important for us to forgive those who have offended us in one way or the other. Once the person has realised his/her offense it is my duty and also your duty to forgive such person without holding on to any grievances.
   I also gained that The house of God should be house of worship because God does not dwell in temple made with hands of men

2. Through today's study my belief system has changed because formally my faith background has it that priest are held in high esteem in the church and nothing should be held back from them being vulnerable to them in everything that happens to us.But thanks be to God for today's teachings has shed more light in that part, the priest is not God and confession of sin shouldn't be done to them alone rather unto God first and secondly to the person we have wronged.

My expectations also has been met in the area of our brethren who commit sin, instead of talking about them disgracing them publicly or mocking them there is need to help them get their track back to God by the mercy of God because love covers a multitudeof sin. Probably it might be through their ignorance or not allowing the light of God to shine in their lives.

1. This study has affected me positively to be a better version of myself in the aspect of repetition while praying and not just repeating words that has been said earlier, making my prayers brief because is not in the much saying.
   the effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias being used as an example from the bible, He was a prophet in the old testament, Elias was against the wrong doings of the peoples, no one was found righteous so he prayed for them to change from their wickedness. He prayed that there will be no rain for 42months (3 years and 6 months) there was no rain from heaven.

In conclusion know ye not that you're the temple of God and the spirit of God dwells in you. Our body is the temple of God, therefore we are encouraged to desist from anything whatsoever that will defile our body presenting it holy unto God. May the Lord help us to do His will has expected (Amen).
