Dejando un poco ya de lado todo lo relacionado con la temporada navideña en cuanto a trabajos de cine y televisión, desde el día de ayer me estoy actualizando con muchas películas que dejé de lado para enfocarme en las películas de navidad y estoy por fin comenzando a ver producciones de las que ya todo el mundo había hablado pero que yo no había disfrutado aún.

Leaving aside everything related to the Christmas season in terms of film and television works, since yesterday I am updating myself with many movies that I put aside to focus on Christmas movies and I am finally starting to see productions that everyone had already talked about but that I had not enjoyed yet.

La primera de ellas es "Disenchanted", la cual estuve bastante ansioso por ver desde el momento en el que supe que la segunda parte se estaba cocinando en Disney y que pude disfrutar la noche de ayer y con la que hoy quiero comenzar a escribir mi primer post de este año para la comunidad de "Movies & TV Shows".

The first one is "Disenchanted", which I was really looking forward to seeing from the moment I found out that the second part was cooking at Disney and that I was able to enjoy the night from yesterday and with which today I want to start writing my first post of this year for the "Movies & TV Shows" community.

Como muchos, he sido seguidor de "Disney" desde que tengo pañales; ese viejo estilo de películas de la compañía siempre me ha causado interés y me ha permitido conocer y apreciar grandes películas que me siguen acompañando hasta el día de hoy, muchos años después. Pero conforme fui creciendo, parte de ese viejo "Disney" se fue perdiendo (a mi parecer) y poco a poco me fui alejando del material nuevo conforme pasaba el tiempo.

Like many, I've been a "Disney" fan since I was in diapers; that old style of company movies has always interested me and has allowed me to know and appreciate great movies that are still with me to this day, many years later. But as I got older, some of that old "Disney" faded away (in my opinion) and I slowly drifted away from the new stuff as time went on.

Pero una de las pocas películas más de la era "moderna" de "Disney" que me gustó mucho fue "Encantada", creo que más que nada fue por Amy Adams pero sin duda la película tenía parte de esa cualidad que había perdido (otra vez, a mi parecer) muchas de las producciones de la compañía. Toda la primera película fue una obra del arte que sé que perdurará bien en el tiempo y en el catálogo moderno de "Disney", pero esta segunda parte, no sé que tanto lo haga.

But one of the few more movies from the "modern" era of "Disney" that I really liked was "Enchanted", I think it was mostly because of ** Amy Adams** but without a doubt the film had part of that quality that had been lost (again, in my opinion) many of the company's productions. The entire first movie was a work of art that I know will last well over time and in the modern "Disney" catalogue, but this second part, I don't know how long it will.

The second parts always have a lot of pressure, even more so when the time gap is as long as it was with this one; It was 15 years that separated the first film from the second and a lot has changed since then.

"Disenchanted" nos transporta a la vida luego del "felices por siempre" que suelen acompañar a las películas de fantasía de "Disney", una realidad que se ha estado tratando con más énfasis desde hace unos años para acá y que resulta ser bastante atractivo para el espectador ya que eso de que la vida es perfecta y todo tienen un final feliz no solo está trillado, sino que es otra vil mentira que nunca debió ver la luz del día.

"Disenchanted" takes us back to life after the "happily ever after" that often accompanies "Disney" fantasy movies, a reality that has been treated more emphasis for a few years here and that turns out to be quite attractive for the viewer since that that life is perfect and everything has a happy ending is not only hackneyed, but it is another vile lie that should never have seen the light of day .

Viviendo en New York y con una integrante más en la familia, los protagonistas deciden mudarse a los suburbios donde compran un castillo para comenzar una nueva vida y darle por fin un "felices para siempre" a su historia pero al ver que esto no es posible porque viven un mundo real y no en uno de fantasía, comienza la disyuntiva de Giselle sobre si continuar su vida en un mundo normal o pedir porque su vida fuese como antes, un cuento de hadas.

Living in New York and with another member of the family, the protagonists decide to move to the suburbs where they buy a castle to start a new life and finally give their story a "happily ever after" but when seeing that this is not possible because they live in a real world and not in a fantasy one, Giselle begins the dilemma about whether to continue her life in a normal world or ask for her life to be as before, a tale of fairies.

Este último es el deseo que pide y es ahí donde comienzan a suceder eventos que los acercan más a una vida de cuento de hadas pero en un mundo real, en donde ambos se mezclan el uno con el otro y causan un mundo lleno de magia pero con defectos que impide que la vida que Giselle quiere vivir se convierta en una realidad.

The latter is the wish he asks for and that is where events begin to happen that bring them closer to a fairy tale life but in a real world, where both mix with each other and cause a world full of magic but with flaws that prevent the life that Giselle wants to live from becoming a reality.

La película tuvo muchas expectativas desde el momento en el que se supo que habría una segunda parte y eso elevó aún más esas expectativas en muchas personas (me incluyo). Aunque fue una buena secuela tal vez no fue lo que esperaba al 100%, todo lo relacionado con la historia estuvo bien pero como logré leer en el título de un artículo de "Variety", le faltó "magia" a esta secuela.

The movie had high expectations from the moment it was known that there would be a second part and that raised those expectations even more in many people (including myself). Although it was a good sequel, maybe it was not what I expected 100%, everything related to the story was good but as I managed to read in the title of an article of "Variety", it lacked "magic " to this sequel.

Es raro cuando "Disney" decepciona en producción y este no fue el caso; fue una mega producción y me gustó gratamente ver como aún el nivel con este tipo de trabajos no ha disminuido. La historia fue muy buena, convertir a Giselle en un personaje opuesto al que vimos hace 15 años atrás fue un acierto porque mostraron otra faceta del personaje.

It's rare when "Disney" disappoints in production and this was not the case; It was a mega production and I was pleasantly pleased to see how the level with this type of work has not diminished. The story was very good, turning Giselle into a character opposite to the one we saw 15 years ago was a success because they showed another facet of the character.

La inclusión de "Maya Rudolph" fue increíble, la mujer es tremenda actriz y el papel estuvo muy bien representado; Maya tiene la habilidad de dar comedia y drama de una forma especial y me gustó ver ambas facetas en un mismo personaje. Lo mismo con "Yvette Nicole Brown" y *Jayma Mays", dos personaje que aunque no tuvieron mucho espacio lograron calar dentro de la historia y lo hicieron bien.

The inclusion of "Maya Rudolph" was amazing, the woman is a tremendous actress and the role was very well cast; Maya has the ability to deliver comedy and drama in a special way and I liked seeing both facets in the same character. The same with "Yvette Nicole Brown" and *Jayma Mays", two characters who, although they didn't have much space, managed to penetrate the story and they did it well.

Ahora bien, la música en esta secuela estuvo mucho más presente que en la anterior pero no tuvo el mismo impacto que en la aquella película. Ambas películas contaron con un soundtrack extenso pero diferente uno del otro, incluso en su éxito. La canción que sobresalió a mi parece fue la balada de interpretó "Idina Menzel", quien en esta entrega tuvo más peso y presencia, a tal punto que cantó en varias canciones y fue parte de la historia principal hasta cierto punto, en la entrega anterior solo fue una pequeña participación y no cantó en ningún tema.

Now, the music in this sequel was much more present than in the previous one but it didn't have the same impact as in that movie. Both films featured extensive soundtracks but differed from each other, even in their success. The song that stood out in my opinion was the ballad performed by "Idina Menzel", who in this installment had more weight and presence, to the point that she sang in several songs and was part of the main story to a certain extent. period, in the previous installment it was only a small participation and he did not sing in any song.

La ambientación estuvo impecable, los espacios donde se filmó gran parte de la película ciertamente fueron los indicados, todo se sentía muy "Disney". Los efectos especiales abundaron y tal vez esto fue lo que no me gustó mucho de la película, se centraron más en ellos que en la misma historia y la "magia" que quisieron transmitir con los efectos especiales, la olvidaron en la historia y en los personajes.

The setting was impeccable, the locations where much of the movie was filmed were certainly on point, it all felt very "Disney". The special effects abounded and perhaps this was what I didn't like very much about the film, they focused more on them than on the story itself and the "magic" that they wanted to convey with the special effects, they forgot it in the story and in the characters.

La historia del protagonista fue innecesaria, nunca había visto una desconexión tan grande entre los protagonistas, aunque por momentos parecía que sincronizaban, por otros eran dos personajes ajenos y no había relación directa con las historias que estaban viviendo por separado, fue extraño.

The protagonist's story was unnecessary, I had never seen such a great disconnection between the protagonists, although at times they seemed to be in sync, at others they were two unrelated characters and there was no direct relationship with the stories they were living separately, it was weird.

Disfruté de la película, eso es seguro, pero no sé si realmente vuelva a verla como lo hago cada vez que en TV transmiten la primera, "Enchanted". Solo el tiempo dirá si sobrevive al paso del mismo y si logra con el tiempo ocupar un lugar dentro de los clásicos de "Disney" como lo hizo ya la película anterior.

I enjoyed the movie, that's for sure, but I don't know if I'll actually watch it again like I do every time the first one, "Enchanted", is on TV. Only time will tell if it survives its passing and if it eventually manages to occupy a place among the "Disney" classics as the previous movie did.
