My Hive Introduction Post ( I Seek Like Minds)

Before anything else I will like to send warm hugs to Temisaren for not only introducing me to this wonderful space, she also showed me the ropes and taught me how to navigate. I can’t thank you enough Temisaren.

I cannot wait to connect with this newly found family. My birth name is Joshua Johnson but you may call me Untamed.

I am a Nigerian born, hailed from Benue state, kissed by the sun, 6 feet 1.

I like to braid my hair because it gives me that social spark and also because i am an entertainer. A rapper and spoken word performer.

About what I do for a living, I’d say I am jack of all trades and a master of all. Having done my schooling and out, I pride myself as a professional interior designer, I am well verse in general architecture and supervisory duties in construction.

To quickly describe my person and personality? I’d call myself a born leader because I do not only see the best in people I also work towards perfection. I am also a dreamer, I believe in dreaming as much as I believe in people, for me, life is more spiritual than it is physical. I don’t care if you call it religion or science but I believe in a greater force existing beyond the cosmos and that force is the ultimate life form and source.

As for my goals in life, one might ask what I intend to achieve before I finally pass. Well, it’s quite simple, I would like to be remembered for all the positive reasons. To be remembered for my impact in people’s lives and for how much I stood for my truths against all odds.

The world is a crazy space and social media is even crazier as everyday, people work so hard to change who they are just to fit into a narrative created by people who did not know who they were as at the time those narratives were created. The struggle between morality and modernism is constantly evolving and showing in our behavior and response to and with one another. It is my believe that as humans, we owe it to ourselves to correct each other’s mistakes, applaud each other’s successes, respect our individual beliefs and obey the common rules that govern our society, for me that is the best way to express humanity.

So in essence, my ultimate dream and goal in this rugged patch of land called earth is to be recognized and celebrated for the great things, the moral things. Whilst I still breathe, I will do my utmost best to be fair and honest in all of my dealing with humans and I will always work towards not only forgiving those who may have hurt me either intentionally or not, but also forgive myself for my wrong actions.

I do not believe in perfection, as a matter of fact I do not believe anyone can be perfect, no human is capable of that level of beauty because we were never designed to be perfect, our primary responsibility as humans is to live, thrive snd endure individual differences.

I can remember vividly in 2001, I had just lost my beloved mother to a ghastly motor accident and my father was totally devastated. I could see the tears rolled down his eyes uncontrollably as the neighbors tried to console him. My siblings and I sat just outside the door mourning and I heard one of my father’s friends said “ Oh Death! An inevitable end “ Something about that phrase stuck in my head, even as a kid, it felt so poetic and further confirms that we were never created to enjoy perfection as humans but to endure the imperfections in ourselves and the world we find ourselves.

My father sort to raise us all and he did a remarkable job until his passing just a few months ago. A great man. No child would’ve asked for a better father. He is survived by three daughters all married, and five sons and many grandchildren. I am the seventh of eight children and we’ve always shared an unbreakable bond, my siblings and I.

My immediate elder brother is an architect. Hardworking, a family man, he gets the job done and Ofcourse, he is such a great husband, father and a sibling. My younger brother is a super amazing person, thoughtful, respectful, he has loads of family values and always wanted the family to bond and excel as one. Amazing guy.Untamed:

My sisters aren’t so different, all married but they never forget their roots. I think my family is one of my greatest gifts and tool for success.

Which is why I see Temisaren’s introduction to the amazing Hive as a welcomed privilege to expand and explore. To meet people who share like minds, learn from those who share different perspectives of life and find a way to thrive without pulling each other down.

I see this platform as a construction site where ideas, philosophies and business initiatives are built to perfection. Meeting new people who think beyond the usual and people hungry for knowledge has always fascinated me because I am such a person.

I surround myself with positive thinking individuals who would rather fight for their dreams rather than coward into their shells. People who still believe even when hope seems to be fading away. This is because life will not always go as planned and we must all learn to adapt and improvise in order to survive and thrive.

My TURN OFFS are Quitters, Doubters, Middle grounders, Gossipers, People who take random things too personal and those who blame everyone and everything else but themselves.

My Hobbies are Reading, I love reading books, lengthy articles, reviews etc. I also love writing it helps me understand my emotions as well as express them, Writing helps me properly define my reality and the unknown realities that surrounds me. I also like to go out, make new friends, have broad conversations, sometimes just catch fun. For me life is short and every second you spend is a second lost forever unless you convert that second into a memory you can cherish.

I cannot begin to mention or even explain the many things that gets me excited to be a part of the Hive community but one of the key elements is FAMILY. I see this entire space as a family tree and each branch representing a community while the leave’s represents all of us individually. We may shade differently, grow in different shapes, colors or even sizes but in the end and when it actually matters, we are one big family springing up from one root.

Again, I am a professional writer, a spoken word artist, a social media influencer, I am well verse in architecture and interior design and I would really like to make and connect with new friends, business partners, mentors and inspirations alike on here. It will be a pleasure for me and something I can boldly write in books.

I will also like to make one of the ultimates in life MONEY, to sell products and earn according to the rules provide by this beautiful community.

This will definitely be another challenging adventure for me but i am patient and I consider myself a very sound and resilient student so that shouldn’t be a problem.
