Chooseday Thoughts : Staying Up Late For No Reason | IAAC Year 2

I don't know why I tend to stay up late these days. I do know I will have to suffer some lost sleep yet I do not seem to care. I'm probably feeling nostalgic over past years when life was better. Well, better in the sense that we had more mobility and less restrictions. Sometimes I wonder if we'll ever get to go back to that time one of these days.

One thing is for sure, a lot has already changed. It's tough getting used to not having Mom around. We're just trying to create new memories by converting it to a cat room.

A-ha! I caught one kitty playing there! 😄😄 Yay! I'm truly happy. After Kuai, Xin was also spotted scratching the poles. Too bad I wasn't able to capture that moment. It was a busy night with a six pm team meeting via Zoom. Then, I had to prep dinner. Time simply flew by. Before I know it, it's bedtime. Yeah, that scenario gets replayed daily. 😂🤣 Tragic, I'd say. The only thing different are my daily posts on Hive. Even that poses a challenge to me.

One other thing, I need to get back on track of my dieting. It's almost the season when folks tend to eat more. 😂🤣 that's lunch for me.. fish fillet on bread. It's good I have my daughter reminding us both to detox on some days and just eat light.

I suppose I have too much on my mind. That's stopping me from hitting the sack early. I will need to find a way to organize my thoughts, transfer them to paper or journal, and sleep better. Sounds like a plan to me. I'll start working on it right away. Till then... One day at a time... One step at a time...
