Midweek Talk : When Less Is More | IAAC Year 2

Happy midweek! 🎉🎉🎉 can't wait for the weekend.. I believe it's a long weekend as Monday will be the first of November -- all saints' day. Well packing and boxing of the items to be donated is the main highlight of the week. I can't wait to have less clutter and more free space.



Took photos of all items to be picked up on Saturday. This is a requirement of Humble Sustainability to make sure there will be enough space in the truck assigned to pick up my donations.

Over the years, it's too tempting to accumulate hordes of stuff. However, I have made it a point to give stuff away, esp those items that I no longer need. Perhaps someone else needs it more and thus, can put it to good use. It's a better alternative rather than let it gather dusts in our small flat.

I'm too far off from a minimalist lifestyle, but I have tried to simplify my needs and wants on a regular basis. If the lockdown was a test, I'd say I discovered I'm on the right track. Spend less on non essentials and more on the essentials. 😉👍🏼
