Wednesday Walk: Breezy Walk at Lush Greeneries KLCC Park

It was Pokémon Community Day, and I have two Pokémon fans at home. Whenever there is a Pokémon Community Day, most people will crowd KLCC park because it has a lot of Pokéstops and also a lot of Pokémons to catch, and you will have higher possibility to get the shiny Mons. Besides, KLCC park is also a famous spot for both locals and tourists for spending family time, walking, taking photos, watching dancing water fountain at night at the man-made lake called Lake Symphony, playing at playground as well as mini water park.

Within the KLCC precinct lies the KLCC Park, a lush, 50-acre urban sanctuary. Visitors can come to enjoy the lush greenery or the park’s wide range of amenities – from the two-acre children’s playground, wading pool and jogging track to shelters and benches, patterned footpaths and sculptures.~Suria KLCC park website

After lunch, we decided to drive to Suria KLCC instead of taking train because the train tickets for four of us would cost more than the car parking ticket. We reached there at 3pm and it was already quite crowded. Needless to say, we noticed many of them walking around holding handphone doing spinning action to catch Pokémon. Haha. Same gang here.

KLCC Park is located right in front of Suria KLCC shopping complex. Somehow, I would not get bored of taking photos of the Twin Tower. See below and you will know, I could take different angles until my husband and boys already walked ahead of me.

I called unto them for some family photos.

As soon as I walked out of the mall's entrance, I saw this crowd. I noticed a lot of people loved to sit at the staircase by the Lake Symphony. Water always did its magic to the soul. And mostly were killing time, like picnic with family while waiting for night time to come for the dancing water fountain.

We walked past the lake to reach the lush greeneries park to find Pokémon. I was busy taking photo and saw buggy ride.

Greeted by this tall tree, kind of like a face looking at me and smiling at me. 😁

I was really in love with all the trees. The weather was super good too. Surprisingly at 3pm, there was no scorching sun but windy breezed greeted our faces as we walked.

And I couldn't help but to ask the rest to walk ahead as I loved loved loved these trees. Gigantic. Full of branches. Steady. Solid.

And this bushy plants too.

We continued to walk further into the park and I continued to immerse myself into nature as the other three busy with catching Pokémon. For your information, I did not play, not really interested but I loved tagging along.

There were some signboards to show the name and details of the trees, so I would just showed chronologically what I saw because I realised it was not easy to match the description with which trees. That showed how much I needed to learn from Tarzan. Lol.

More trees and another super tall tree again. I loved tall huge trees, they made me felt secure, like a shelter, a protection overshadowing me.

Then, the KLCC map here.

As we continued to walk further in, we reached the Convention Center at our right and more lush greeneries at our left.

Still super love the bright red buggy ride vehicle.

The view was so beautiful here. Many people dressed up nicely for photoshoot too. One family wore same blue theme for family photos.

Another tree with details signboard.

Emergency pole in case anyone needed help. How thoughtful.

This section was where the photoshooting took place earlier.

We found some wooden benches to sit in. So we sat. I wanted to continue eating my lunch as earlier on, with braces on, I could not eat as fast and still had some leftover.

A gazebo right beside where we sat. The couples were playing Pokémon too.

After finishing my remainder lunch, I needed to visit washroom, so I walked to the Convention Centre for that purpose.

We continued to walk further in and I captured all these beautiful greens. Greens and greens. I was in awe. Let me show you.

The husband and eldest son were at another side, while my youngest son stayed with me. I wanted to walk to have a look at the playground and water park from far view. This is a super huge park and it was impossible for us to finish walking. Since the playground and waterpark were super crowded, we did not walk until that side. But were the view as I walked towards the area. You would notice there was a spot with clearer view of the Twin Tower. We actually needed to wait for our turn to capture the photos. Groups of people lining up to take turns. One group even set up phone stand because they did a tiktok dance with Twin Tower behind as view. We had free performance to watch. Haha.

Another gazebo and also a built-up with water for drinking.

The little one said he loved the red path.

Two hours passed so fast and it wa s time to walk back to the Suria KLCC shopping complex. I love these three peeps, man they brighten up the home with their laughter and silliness and also sometimes seriousness, especially at the park with their Pokémon catch.

Bye bye Lake Symphony. Bye bye, Twin Tower.

Then, we entered the shopping complex via this area.

Hope you enjoyed the virtual walk at KLCC park. I hope to come here again one day by myself so that I can slowly walk and cover the whole area. Thank you, @tattoodjay for #WednesdayWalk initiative, that we can view the walk all across the earth here at Hive.
