Homemade Yummy Food by Aunt || ❤️❤️❤️

I aim to document what my aunt cooked for us weekly to let it stay at Hive blockchain since I do not post at social media often and don't intend to. I finally got my car back. Like, finally. Yayyy. So my youngest son and I went to Aunt's for lunch last Saturday. My eldest did not join as he followed the father for Pokémon Community Day.

Lunch Cooked with Love

She told me when she reached the market, there were not much vegetables left. She actually wanted to cook a spinach soup and stir fry broccoli mixed vegetables for us. But she could only get cauliflower and French beans, and also little bit left only. I told her not to worry because these was great great great enough. I knew she always wanted to cook more for us. Let's see what she had prepared for us.

Stewed Boneless Chicken

She bought whole chicken and deboned by herself, keeping the bones for next bone broth. Then, she cut the chicken to smaller pieces to stir fry them. Then adding the sauce made from onion and garlic oil with ouster sauce and soy sauce, to simmer for awhile.

Stir fry veggies

This was the simples to cook, our basic style in Chinese cuisine also using oyster sauce, some salt, sugar and pepper. Yet when she cooked it, always tasted yummier. It could be because of her love. Simple and nice.

Braised Potatoes with Pork Slices

This was a dish liked by most children. My boys love it. They could eat this on its own. Basically was a basic stir fry with dark soy sauce and light sauce with rock sugar and pepper. My aunt used sesame oil for this dish for extra fragrant.

My son said the food was tiptop. He finished his whole bowl of rice and ate a lot of the potato dish. He was indeed Mr. HAPPY.

After lunch, my youngest son and my aunt spent some time together as my aunt missed him very much. She also noticed my son lost some weight after unwell for one week and she encouraged him to eat more. Both of them could chat to my surprise because my Aunt used Hakka language and my son used English. So I wondered how they understood each other. It was a miracle. Haha.

It was a joy to see younger generation able to click and hang out with older generation. Our prayer is that my Aunt lives long and healthy and fit.❤️

Thank you for reading. Stay bubbly. Stay hopeful.

The food looks delicious, @iamjadeline! Your aunt appears to be a very good cook. I bet her food can help your son become strong and healthy! (I’m sorry he was sick, but glad he is better.)

May your aunt live a long and healthy life.

It's a special feeling when you cook something special for yourself, but... There is no better food than the one prepared by our grandmothers, aunts, mother... :)
The launch had a great effect on your son... Batteries recharged! :)

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!
