FINDING CALM AFTER THE HUSTLE: A RELAXING WALK TO RONDA WHARF

Hello dear Hivers! It’s me again Miss Geneveve. For Today’s Wednesday Walk I will take you a tour in our famous Municipality tourist attraction which we called the “Ronda Wharf!”

After work today, it is part of my routine to take a brief walk from my work station to our Ronda Wharf most especially during sunset. It is my little treat for myself to savor the moment of nature.

We call it Ronda Wharf or Pantalan. It is located in Barangay Poblacion, Ronda, Cebu. Originally, it serves as a transportation place of passengers, goods and other things to Negros but as of now it serves as an attraction of our place. The wharf is often use by our local fishermen and small boats, but it is also a best spot for walking, jogging, fishing, swimming and for relaxing.

A lot of people in our neighboring town tend to visit our Ronda Wharf to feel the fresh breeze, watch the calm sea and enjoy the sounds of the waves of the ocean to soothe their minds and soul away from pressure of life.

Along with our Ronda wharf, we also have our Town's Park,where the people can experience a free movie time and bond with their family.

During sunrise and sunset, the pantalan becomes even more beautiful as the sky changes colors over the water. The fresh air, simple surroundings and its tranquility make our pantalan a perfect place to pause, reflect, reset and appreciate the natural beauty of the sea.

Watching the sun slowly disappear beyond the sea gives me a sense of peace and gratitude, making my simple walk feel like a perfect ending to the day.
