Last night was a sad night for Arsenal fans worldwide. The Gunners had a terrible night in the Emirate stadium as they lost to Manchester City 3 goals to 1, but it was not a surprise because Manchester City has a better record when both teams go head to head in any competition. Last night was the second time the Gunners lost to Manchester City this season, the Gunners lost 1 goal to nothing against City in the FA Cup last month.

Arsenal are a good team but as I have said for the past month I don't see them winning the EPL this season because Manchester City won't go down without a fight and they should how deadly they were last night at the Emirates Stadium. Now Arsenal's mentality might be affected by their recent performance and other teams will fancy their chances of taking three points away from the Gunners.

Back to the match, the first goal was scored in the 24th minute of the first half, Tomiyasu from Arsenal made a terrible back pass which allowed De Bruyne to take a shot into the goalpost and scored the first goal of the match. Arsenal equalized in the 42nd minute from a penalty kick, Saka took the penalty beautifully as he sent Manchester City's goalkeeper the wrong way and played the ball into the goal post.

Manchester City got their lead back in the 72nd minute of the second half, Haaland played a low cross into the box and the ball went past Arsenal's defenders and got to Jack Grealish, the Englishman wasted no time as he took a shot and the ball went past Arsenal's goalkeeper into the goalpost.

Manchester City sealed their victory in the 82nd minute, Manchester City made a counterattack, De Bruyne received the ball from Gundogan and the Belgium International quickly played a through ball to Haaland who fired the ball into the goalposts and scored City's third goal of the night.

The 90th minute was up and Manchester City took all three points, City is now top of the table with 51 points the same as Arsenal's but City is leading with a goal difference. Arsenal still has a game in hand to play which is still a trump card, although they have a game in hand it is not certain if it will put them back on top. It is going to be interesting to see how the rest of the season will play, Manchester City might just defend their title or the Gunners might swoop in and take the crown.

So guys that will be all for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.

City got what they deserved. Deep down we all knew that City would win that match. But it's going to be tricky. Other clubs are on the queue to ruin their party.
