The EPL got a lot more interesting with this week's features. Week 6 of the English Premier League kicked off with the leaders Chelsea playing against Manchester City.

The Blues welcomed City at Stamford Bridge. As expected fans filled the stadium, ready to support their favourite team.

The referee blew the whistle and the match started. Manchester City wasted no time, launching an attack on the home side. Few minutes into the game, a cross by Gabriel Jesus almost gave City the lead but was stopped by the Chelsea defence

Manchester City still made another attempt to get a goal as Joao Cancelo cut his way to Chelsea's defence and made a through pass but unfortunately, no one in the City shirt was to receive it.

Chelsea players were struggling to keep up with City. The league champions had more possession, more attempts on goal and shot on target. The first half came to an end with Manchester City dominating the first 45 minutes played.

The second half came to a start
I was curious to see if Chelsea would bring in their a-game in the second half. But just 8 minutes played out of the second half, Manchester City scored the first goal in the match. Gabriel Jesus put in a shot that was deflected into the Chelsea goal post.

The Blues still found it hard to take any chance, going forward with no effort on goal. City kept on dominating, creating more chances to get another goal. Gabriel Jesus made a run with the ball down to the box 18 of Chelsea and made a pass to Jack Grealish, he tried to get a goal but was denied by the Chelsea goalkeeper.

The time was running out, still Chelsea unable to get a shot on target, City putting pressure on Chelsea defence, I was surprised because Chelse has been amazing since the beginning of the season seeing them play that badly was not what I expected from them.

The match came to an end with Manchester City claiming all three points leaving the Blues stunned. For the first since the beginning of the 2021/2022 EPL session Chelsea finished with no shot on target and off-target. It was bad for the Blues at home. I hope they get back to winning more games.

More actions are still to come from the EPL don't miss out.
