What a weekend it has been in the EPL and La Liga. Santander, Manchester City and Liverpool could take all three points after they played a 2-2 draw last night, which has to be one of the toughest matches I have watched this football season. Liverpool is still one point away from Manchester City in the EPL table. Liverpool will have to hope for City's loss or draw a match to increase their chances of winning the League.

In La Liga, Santander Barcelona continues their unbeaten streak, Barcelona has now played fourteen matches in all competitions without losing a single match. I am proud of the job Xavi has done with the team honestly, it looks like a miracle.

Barcelona played away from home last night against Levante. For the first 45 minutes of the match both teams could not get a goal but that changed in the second half of the match. Levante was awarded a penalty after Dani Alves brought down a Levante player in the box. Levante's captain Luis Morales took the penalty kick and scored Levante's first goal of the match.

Levante got another penalty six minutes later from a handball by Eric Gracia. Roger from Levante took the penalty shot but this time Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen blocked the ball from going into the goalpost. Barcelona got their equalizer in the 59th minute. Dembele made a cross into the box finding Aubameyang who headed the ball into the goalpost making it his eighth Laliga goal since joining Barcelona.

Barcelona super subs Pedri and Gavi orchestrated the second goal. Gavi dribbled past two Levante players and then directed a pass to Pedri. The Barcelona young star made no mistake as he fired a shot into the goalpost giving Barcelona the lead over Levante. Levante once again got another penalty after Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet brought down a Levante player in the box. Gonzalo Melero from Levante took the penalty shot and scored both teams were levelled again.

Barcelona got the winning goal in the 90th minute with another super-sub made by Xavi. Jordi Alba's cross was headed by Luuk De Jong into the goalpost, Luuk once again delivered for Barcelona when it mattered.

So guys that's all for now, but there is still more football to be played this week, The UCL and the Europa League are happening this week, and the quarter-finals are entering the final stages, will Chelsea make a comeback against Madrid? Is Villarreal going to be the team that knocks Bayern Munich out? It's all going to happen this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week ahead.

The thing he admired the most about Xavi's work and assured me that he is a coach with a great future and works smart is to take advantage of the appropriate form from De Jong in particular.... He took advantage of him perfectly and knew how and when to employ him to serve the team and results..This case confirms that Xavi does not leave anything to chance... .

You are right about that, I noticed this when Barcelona played against Frankfurt last week.
