Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Vegan | Green rice with peas and stuffed olives

Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Vegan. Have you ever eaten green rice? I saw this recipe online and it caught my attention. The idea is to use green ingredients to add color to rice, which is naturally white. Although the recipe included spinach and white onion, among other vegetables, I decided to give it a very personal touch by adding ingredients that are certainly green, but to my liking.

I used some green seasonings, just for color, which turned out very subtle. I left the strong flavor to the stuffed olives and peas. This recipe is 100% vegan and very different. I hope you like it.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 38 g green bell pepper
- 80 g peas
- 30 grams of garlic
- 10 grams of chives
- 5 grams of parsley
- Green olives stuffed to taste
- 2 cups of water
- Salt to taste

Preparation
1.- Wash the herbs and chop them into pieces. Place them in a blender, add two cups of water, and blend.

2.- Wash the rice, add the 2 cups of liquid with the blended seasonings. Add salt to taste and cook until al dente.

3.-. Once the rice is ready, add the peas and stuffed olives. Mix together.

That's it, this recipe is that simple. Serve the green rice.

I hope you liked it, this has been my participation in Hive Top Chef competition. See you another time.

This rice it's super good looking 💯💯💯 I love olives in rice also if usually I prefer not stuffed olives, what a yumminess 💕
I love rice, and I like the look of this green rice. The peas surely gave it an incredible texture, and the olives added their intense flavor.
It turned out really well, with the peas and olives adding flavor. Thanks for stopping by.

Food is a discovery. I never knew that olives 🫒 could be eaten with rice. What about the seeds?
You can eat olives however you like. If they have pits, just eat the flesh of the olives. There are also stuffed, pitless olives, like the ones I used in the recipe.
