What Do You Know About Balochistan? The Hidden Side Of Pakistan

'Balochistan' literally means the land of the Baloch. Just like Pakistan means the Land of the Pure. Balochistan the largest, yet the most ignored province of Pakistan. I mean it when I say it. Balochistan is listed amongst the top most resourceful region in the world. Can you imagine? In the world. It has everything. From coal to natural oil. From natural gold to natural gas. Infact the whole gas supply of Pakistan is carried out from a land called SUI which is located in Balochistan. You know what's ironic in this? The people living in SUI don't have gas for themselves. They have to cook food by burning lodges and woods on daily basis. Why? Due to the monopoly of the Pakistan Army and the Government. All the gas is redirected to the other provinces such as Punjab and Balochistan is ignored like it always has been.

There have been many Baloch Organizations who have tried to stand up against this monopoly and injustice but sadly they are being killed on daily basis. Even at this very moment, a baloch is being mutilated by someone in the army.

Currently I'm in Balochistan. I'm lyi g on my bed somewhere in Balochistan. I won't mention the place as it is not safe for me to write it down but I'm in Balochistan at the moment. I reached yesterday to Lasbella, a small city in Balochistan and the moved on with my journey to the heart of this Province.

Today, I visited a couple of places in Balochistan that I want you all to see. I want you all to be in awe of the beauty of this place. How it is surrounded by barren mountains onall four sides and how within these mountains exist natural lakes. How welcoming the people of Balochistan are and how tasty is the food here. I'll write all of it down. The first place that I want to show you is the

HANA LAKE

Located almost at the border of Pakistan and Iran,Hana lake is a natural lake to visit. It's a beautiful place embedded in mountains on all sides. A lot of fun activities take place on this lake, which I will show you shortly. Before moving on, let me mention that this border is also the place from where huge tons of oil and gas is smuggled to and from Iran. Its time for you all to look at this beautiful place from first person's perspective.

Alot of fun activities were going on there such as swings and play area for kids. A seperate prayer area for you to offer the compulsory prayers. Boating, rowing, and other water related fun activities.

After enjoying for some time here, I decided to move on to another place which is quite remarkable historically. It's a mountain on which the pages of the Holy Quran since over 1000s of years have been preserved. It is known as the

JABL E NOOR

Islam is an important aspect of our lives. It gives us a reason to live and assets associated to Islam hold a significant importance in our lives. This mountain had alot of historical copies of our holy book, the QURAN so I really wanted to give this place a visit as well. The weather wasn't friendly but I didn't want to miss out on this historical place. It took me an hour to drive to this mountain and it was worth it. Some of the copies that I found were almost as old as 600 years.

These places are not known by huge majority of the people, infact not even known to Pakistanis themselves. I have been utilizing this platform, Hive and specifically this community, pinmapple to highlight these places.
