Wednesday walk : Small Town
Greetings everyone, how are you all friends? Hope you are well. Thank you Wednesdaywalk @tattoodjay as inspiration. On this occasion I walked in the city where I was born, namely the city of Pemalang, central Java Province.

A small town far from the provincial capital and far from the capital city of jakarta. Most of the residents in this city migrate to big Cities . They return home once a year during Eid.

I visited my hometown to see relatives who are still alive, one of the times was used for a morning walk around the city. Passing through the town square, it seems that the trees in the town square have changed.

Many of them have been cut down, but it is not clear why, in the middle of the park there is a pineapple monument as a symbol of the success of pineapple Farmers.

An office complex near the town square, the area is led by a regent who regulates development. The city's main highway, now a concern for residents, has now turned into one lane.

And apparently the vehicle road has been narrowed, but the left and right sidewalks have been widened. Giving priority to pedestrians. I think there is nothing wrong with imitating good urban planning concept.

Smal towns have train station, a means of transportation essential for long-distance travel, such as to jakarta or Surabaya city. Not all trains stop at these stations. The station building appears to be an old structure with historical significance.

Not far from the train station, I walked to the pasar pagi (morning market) one of the oldest and most traditional markets in Pemalang city.

It's called pasar pagi because the activity of traders and buyers begins early in the morning. I tried to go into the market and buy kitchen necessities to take home as souvenirs.

I think it's enough to walk around Pemalang city, hopefully it's useful.
Thank you and happy day.
