Wednesday walk : A walk in Tugu Muda Park
Greetings, how are you all? We hope you're all well. Thank you Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. Tugu Muda Park is located in the center of Semarang city. It's circular shape is accompanied by a historic monument in the center.
Five intersections around the park divide several routes, around Tugu Muda Park are government building, with modern architectural forms, Colonial architectural buildings, historic buildings and museums buildings.
The plants in Tugu Muda Park are shrubs, so they don't obstruct the view of motorists. Seating is provided on the sidewalk, electricity poles and streetlights are placed at several points.
The monument building is in the center of the park. The Tugu Muda Park was built to commemorate the history of the battle between the people of Semarang and the japanese army.
For five days in october 1945,defending Indonesian independence. The height of the Tugu Muda monument of Semarang city is approximately 14 meters. The shape of the monument pointed upwards symbolized patriotic.
Under the monument there are several fine art paintings, telling the battle between the local people and Japanese army at that time the japanese army occupied.
