Lempuyangan Station Yogyakarta

How are you, my dear friends?. Thank you the management and inspiration for the Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. Lempuyangan Railway Station id an old building built around 1872 by a Dutch private company and has undergone several renovations.

Some time ago I took a short walk inside Lempuyangan station. I held the departure ticket from Lempuyangan station Yogyakarta at 9:55 AM to Bandung and estimated arrival around 6:55 PM.

While waiting for the train to depart, I walked around the station. The current condition of stations in Indonesia is more organized and clean, compared to the conditions a few years ago. In the waiting room only passengers who Will board the train and railway employees on duty.

Lempuyangan station id designated for economy class trains are located at Tugu Station,which is not far away. The shape of the Lempuyangan station building is elongated and not very wide. A row of train travel management rooms facing inward.

Rows of chairs are lined up to wait for the train to depart,at any time there are trains that just pass by without stopping. And there are trains that stop briefly to pick up and drop off passengers, there are also locomitives that are parked.

Facilities in the waiting room are lined with food and beverage stalls. A place where people take photos, in the waiting room, there is a statue in palace attire with a background of typical palace carvings.

Those who bring small children so they don't get bored waiting there is a children's Playground. Organic and non-organic waste bins are available. Toilet facilities are separated by green leaves.

Above the door of the travel management office, it says +114 M, meaning Lempuyangan station id 114 meters above sea level, here taken from the south Java sea. The station atmosphere is Made comfortable so you don't get bored.

And what caught my attention was which were various items such as drinking bottle, bags,suitcases and others. The cabinet was used to store passengers belongings left behind, both on the train and on the room waiting.
