"A Stroll Through the Christmas Village: Photos and Reflections"

Hello friends of this fantastic community,

Yesterday afternoon, due to adverse weather conditions in my area, I decided to take a walk at the nursery center. This place is a true paradise for flower and gardening enthusiasts, but not only that; these days, they just finished setting up a mini Christmas village. I must admit that this company has another branch about twenty kilometers from here, where they create a beautiful and much larger Christmas village. Nevertheless, I managed to take some photos in this mini village because some of the decorations were truly captivating, despite not being particularly passionate about the Christmas atmosphere. I am more of a simple and minimalist person; let's say I don't go all out decorating the house for Christmas.

In my stroll through the stands, I noticed that some items had a really exaggerated price. For example, a small character depicting a nutcracker cost more than €20, which seemed a bit much to me. The store also sold truly beautiful nativity scenes and magnificent Santa Clauses, not to mention the huge Christmas trees for sale, even for outdoor use.

However, the store was not as crowded as one might expect at this time. People seemed to be there mainly to buy flowers for the commemoration of the deceased, a tradition in Italy held between the first and 2nd of November. Personally, I think it's still too early to think about Christmas when people are preparing to honor their departed loved ones; I believe thinking about Christmas early is a bit too consumeristic.

Certainly, in the coming days, I will consider the possibility of visiting other Christmas villages, hoping to find more interesting and different ones than this. In that case, I will definitely share the photos with you here.
