Yesterday, chatting via Skype with a friend, we commented on the diversity of versions that are around the market and we both thought that it is impossible to take any of them seriously despite the great share of reasonableness they have.
We talked about the possible hard fork of Ethereum, but not the planned and much-hyped merge to ethereum 2.0 with its consensus protocol change but the one being promoted by some miners who don't want to stop doing that work. Whether it is possible or not is unknown, although there are many forecasts in this regard.
We also commented on the decision of BlackRock, the largest asset manager on the planet, when on Thursday it published on its blog the launch of a new Bitcoin spot private fund and an alliance with Coinbase to offer the cryptocurrency to its clients. Some dreamers speculated that if only 0.1% of the assets that this company manages were turned over to participate in this fund, the price of the cryptocurrency would rise exponentially. For now, the market has not reacted in any way to the announcement, so the price of the cryptocurrency has not had substantial changes.
Finally, we talk about Solana, the alleged heiress of Ethereum. The wide spread of hacking of your wallet that exposed unforeseen fragilities plus some technical problems that your network would be suffering are problems that are difficult to ignore, as if this were not enough, the well-known centralization is not to the liking of most of the fans of the cryptocurrencies; According to some analysts, the price of the altcoin could suffer a sharp decline in the coming days. Clouds are on the horizon for her too.

Hablamos sobre el posible hardfork de Ethereum, pero no el planificado y tan promocionado merge a etereum 2.0 con su cambio de protocolo de consenso sino al que están promoviendo algunos mineros que no desean dejar de hacer ese trabajo. Si es posible o no es una incógnita, aunque hay muchas previsiones al respecto.
También comentábamos sobre la decisión de BlackRock, la mayor gestora de activos del planeta cuando el día jueves publicó en su blog el lanzamiento de un nuevo fondo privado spot de Bitcoin y una alianza con Coinbase para ofrecer la criptomoneda a sus clientes. Algunos soñadores especulaban que con que tan solo el 0,1 % de los activos que esa compañía administra se volcaran a la participación en este fondo, el precio de la criptomoneda subiría exponencialmente. Por ahora el mercado no ha reaccionado de ninguna manera al anuncio por lo que la cotización de la criptomoneda no ha tenido cambios sustanciales.
Por último, hablamos sobre Solana, la supuesta heredera de Ethereum. La amplia difusión del hackeo de su monedero que dejó al desnudo fragilidades impensadas más algunos problemas técnicos que estaría sufriendo su red son problemas difíciles de ignorar, como si esto fuera poco, la conocida centralización no es del agrado de la mayoría de los fanáticos de las criptomonedas; según algunos analistas el precio de la altcoin podría sufrir un fuerte retroceso en los próximos días. Nubarrones en el horizonte también para ella.
Como verán hay para todos los gustos y como siempre cada uno tendrá que tomar sus decisiones, entre las que se incluye por supuesto, quedarse quieto hasta que el panorama aclare.
