Music support through Solana - Respaldo a la música a través de Solana
Although the price of the last few days does not reflect enthusiasm for the news that Twitter and Discord have already incorporated the possibility of embedding in their chats and websites NFT's audio based on the Solana blockchain, the data is encouraging in several aspects, for the creators of the altcoin, for users of both social networks who will be able to use the new function to validate the authenticity of digital collectibles and of course for musicians and creators of this type of content. I also don't want to forget about the SOL forks, although for now and as I said at the beginning, no one seems to get too excited about the value of the coin.
Solana is one of the next-generation blockchains that debuted in March 2020 with a price that did not reach 2 dollars, today it is trading just above 200 dollars and at the beginning of November it touched 260 dollars to begin a slow decline until the present day.
If we compare it with its older sisters, bitcoin and Ethereum, this development uses what has been called Proof of History (PoH) which differs from the one used by bitcoin, PoW, or proof of work and the one preferred by Ethereum (PoS) or proof of participation. Without going into repeated details many times, the election of Solana has shown greater speed and the figures show it: the creation of a block on this blockchain takes approximately 400 milliseconds while Ethereum theoretically takes 10 seconds and bitcoin 10 minutes.
Twitter and Discord have been ahead of the rest of the social networks by accepting the NFT’s, we will see what repercussions this facility has, both in the networks, as in the music and of course in the price of the token.
Aunque la cotización de los últimos días no refleja entusiasmo por la noticia sobre que Twitter y Discord ya han incorporado la posibilidad de incrustar en sus chats y webs audios NFT’s basados en la blockchain de Solana, el dato es alentador en varios aspectos, para los creadores de la altcoin, para los usuarios de ambas redes sociales que podrán utilizar la nueva función para validar la autenticidad de los coleccionables digitales y por supuesto para los músicos y creadores de ese tipo de contenidos. Tampoco me quiero olvidar de los tenedores de SOL, aunque por ahora y como dije al principio, nadie parece entusiasmarse demasiado con el valor de la moneda.
Solana es una de las blockchain de última generación que debutó en marzo del año 2020 con una cotización que no alcanzaba los 2 dólares, hoy en día se cotiza apenas sobrepasando los 200 dólares y a principios de noviembre rozó los 260 dólares para comenzar una lenta caída hasta el día de hoy.
Si la comparamos con sus hermanas mayores, bitcoin y Ethereum, este desarrollo utiliza lo que se ha dado en llamar Prueba de historia (PoH) que se diferencia del utilizado por bitcoin, PoW o prueba de trabajo y del que prefiere Ethereum (PoS) o prueba de participación. Sin entrar en detalles repetidos en muchas oportunidades, la elección de Solana ha demostrado mayor rapidez y las cifras lo demuestran: la creación de un bloque en esta blockchain demora aproximadamente 400 milisegundos mientras que Ethereum demora en teoría 10 segundos y bitcoin 10 minutos.
Twitter y Discord se han adelantado al resto de las redes sociales al aceptar los NFT’s, veremos que repercusiones tiene esta facilidad, tanto en las redes, como en la música y por supuesto en la cotización del token.
