The previous time we looked at sin. Where it came from, who sinned first and what sin does to us. God loves us very much and He wants us to be near to Him, but when we sin it bring a big gorge between God and us.

So when we sin, how we make it right with God again?

When you do something wrong at home what must you do? You have to tell mommy and daddy that you are sorry. It's the same with God, we have to say we are sorry.

We have seen previously that we talk to God when we pray. You must admit that you did something wrong, pray and tell God that you are sorry. That is called confessing your sins. Ask God to forgive you. God tells us in the Bible in the book of 1 John 1:9, that if we confess our sins, He will forgive us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God also sent His Son Jesus to earth to make it right between God and man. We saw that Jesus came to earth, was born from the virgin Mary.
Next time we will look how Jesus came to heal the broken relationship between God and us.
