Home Education Curation Collection. 2nd January 2022
Apologies for not giving my full attention to the community over the Christmas period. I appreciate All the community members who've kept things going with their support, posts and comments. Now we begin another calender year. Time flies! I look forward to continuing sharing your homeschooling journeys into 2022.
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
• @afterglow
• @diamondcare
• @arrliinn
• @mayifiestas
I love how @ashtv's been able to incorporate his videography skills into his songs education. I think this lad could teach me a thing or two about communication now, as his confidence grows.
Once again @missdeli brings us colourful and fun development activities for preschool aged children. These ones focus on maths development via pattern recognition, but also assist in fine motor skill development.
This week there have been quite a few posts shared on the practical skills of baking. It was hard to choose which to share, but I think what stood out for me with @ekotmordemy's post was how he took the opportunity to not only teach his family baking skills, but showed them how to do so without a modern oven; great for those in places where this situation might arise or even for camping trips.
@melbourneswest used a cooking and food preparation opportunity to help teach his daughter a bit about culture and the history of traditions. As a parent it's hard not to make the most of an activity which triggers questions in our children.
Hopefully you've already come across @afa.hb03's art. This talented artist has been teaching his cousins and sharing how he makes his digital artworks with us. What I particularly liked about this latest dinosaur drawing was that he also shared some information about the discoveries made so far on it.
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @justinparke as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing entries and the skill sets are definitely growing in the group. I'm feeling out of whack, some really good parenting going on there! Well done everyone.
