There's been a real mixture of topics this week, so we've got some practical learning ideas and some food for thought for you today.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@justinparke
@majo77
@emimoron
@arrliinn

@kattycrochet shares a fun bingo game she created to help children become more familiar with recognising the vocabulary of a second language, in this case English. She has created this game from scratch, has found it's a favourite among her students and has returned some of the best results.

For art practice, @thisismylife has been using a small posable mannequin as a reference point for her daughter. She's been impressed by her progress so far and plans to try more different poses in the future.

@mildredwg and son have been playing with sensory toys they made and show you how. These will help with his motor skill development and mobility through his hand and lower arm, in addition to the sensory information they provide through touch.

@majo77 discusses childhood amnesia, the phenomenon where most of us can recall very little from our infancy, due to the fact that our brain is still developing. She goes on to write about what things have been found to help increase memories being retained in these early years.

Recently, @justinparke found some time to switch off from survival mode for a bit and play Lego with his daughter. I think some lessons were learnt for him as much as they were for his daughter, especially as they were having fun at the same time. A reminder that often so much more can be learnt in quality time spent with your children and that sometimes we just need to switch off from the stresses of the world.

Thank you so much for the support and the selection of my post I really learned a lot reading about the topic of childhood amnesia. And I learn from every post that is published in this community. It is excellent, thanks to the team that administers, moderates and the founder of the community.

Need to check out the mannequin post. I almost purchased a mini mannequin to help Srey-Yuu with her human figure drawing skills. Thanks for featuring me and the other awesome authors in this curation.
