Justice will be found in this the third examination of AI generated images

I’m finally here. The final set of thumbnails that I generated for Lady Justice, the Tarot card. This was a challenging representational journey; as this is imagery that I’ve attempted to work on and with at many points of my creative life.

Even though I am choosing to represent it again and again here; it probably won’t the the last time I choose to explore such imagery.

This image is probably the one I admire the most from the collection of thumbnails. I like the shape and textures in the gown. I like that the scales are represented by a linkage between the two arms of Justice, with the sword not entirely visible. The secondary scale below the first looks as though it acts as a measure of the consequence of justice.

Perhaps it is full of sand that has a line traced in it through consequences of the movement of the sword arm.

This image isn’t perfect, however. There’s a lack of a blind fold (which I do not mind, as the eyes are downcast), and the hand on the right hand side of the image could do with additional coherence. These are all things that I am capable (and prepared) to fix.

In the image above, we see something that would have looked infinitely better as a thumbnail alone. In full size, the facial features lack any forms of coherence; and the scales and swords, grasped in each hand, do not make a lot of sense. The image is in effect, nonsense.

The image below, however, does a slightly better job. It still lacks detail, and the only consistently good element is that of the gown. It is incredibly complex and filled with detail. It could be more embellished, but isn’t enough to carry about the theme of justice on its own merit.

Here, the blind fold is perfectly executed; but the blades of justice are just hovering shanks without a handle. There is also a lack of scales, which subtract from he symbology of the piece.

This final image is again, another strong candidate. I like that the weapon is almost peeling away the veil of justice; but the other representational elements in the image are very poorly rendered. As a result, I will not be using this image.

Fear not, I’ve not given up. Instead, there’s a lot of work to do to fix the image below:

That will be in the next post, however!

The last image is my favourite. The Halo gives it a very interesting effect. The blindfold hurts but having his eyes closed makes up for it to a great extent.

Thank you! :) I am happy with the outcome for that one in particular! It is getting easier as I make more and more of these images, that is for sure.
