Saludos a toda nuestra bonita comunidad Holos&Lotus

Bienvenido marzo y con él a una nueva celebración del Día Internacional de la Mujer. Una fecha que nos invita a reflexionar sobre el rol de la mujer en la sociedad, profundizar en su esencia, sus derechos, en las acciones individuales y colectivas que nos hablan de igualdad y justicia.

En esta oportunidad queremos abordar la celebración desde la esencia del ser mujer, su vulnerabilidad y contención.

Cada año resaltamos en esta fecha sus arquetipos y fortalezas, como la mujer luchadora, todo terreno, echada pa´lante, guerrera, lo que se traduce en el desarrollo de sus capacidades y habilidades de ser arriesgada, independiente, tomar decisiones acertadas, consciente de sus libertades, autonomía e independencia. Asimismo, el arquetipo de la mujer madre aquella que protege, cuida, cría, la del amor sin límites… y tantos otros arquetipos como la de la mujer sanadora, sabia, la conectada con la naturaleza, etc.

Cada una de estas cualidades no alude únicamente al ámbito familiar sino que es extensible a todo su accionar ya que al hablar de arquetipos hacemos referencia a un constructo universal, es lo que socialmente se espera de la mujer y es lo que ella da a la sociedad.

Greetings to our wonderful Holos&Lotus community

Welcome March and with it a new celebration of International Women's Day. A date that invites us to reflect on the role of women in society, to delve deeper into their essence, their rights, and the individual and collective actions that speak to us of equality and justice.

On this occasion, we want to approach the celebration from the essence of being a woman, her vulnerability and resilience.

Every year on this date, we highlight their archetypes and strengths, such as the fighter, the all-rounder, the go-getter, the warrior, which translates into the development of their abilities and skills to be risk-takers, independent, make sound decisions, and be aware of their freedoms, autonomy, and independence. Likewise, the archetype of the mother woman who protects, cares for, raises, and loves without limits... and so many other archetypes such as the healing woman, the wise woman, the woman connected to nature, etc.

Each of these qualities does not only refer to the family sphere but extends to all her actions, since when we talk about archetypes we are referring to a universal construct, it is what is socially expected of women and what they give to society.

Vulnerabilidad y Contención

Dentro de este contexto surgen algunas preguntas: ¿Qué hay de su vulnerabilidad? ¿Qué hay debajo de toda esa fortaleza?

Hablemos de sus emociones, de cuando siente el peso desmedido por las responsabilidades asumidas y las cargas desequilibradas, de cuando las cosas no salen como quiere, como planificó, como ideó y llega la frustración, el desencanto, la decepción, la impotencia o el desaliento.

Y junto a este sentir conversemos acerca de aquello que ha construido como estrategia de contención emocional, de sostén. ¿Qué y quienes la sostienen, la acompañan?, ¿cuál es su red de soporte, de apoyo?, ¿cómo mantiene su rol sin perderse en el reto diario de estar allí para lo que salga?

Podemos ampliar el ámbito de la iniciativa considerando como referencia el lema de la celebración que nos propone la Organización de las Naciones Unidas –ONU- “Derechos, justicia y acción por y para todas las mujeres y niñas”, tomando como premisa que derecho, justicia y acción forman parte de un todo para la contención emocional y salud mental de cada uno de nosotros.

¿Qué otra reflexión agregarías?
Sé creativo en tus respuestas, no es necesario que respondas alguna de estas preguntas como un cuestionario, son preguntas orientadoras, lo ideal es que te inspires en el tema y nos compartas tus impresiones de la forma más creativa que puedas expresarlo. Usa un título creativo en tu post.

Vulnerability and Containment

Within this context, some questions arise: What about their vulnerability? What lies beneath all that strength?

Let's talk about your emotions, about when you feel the excessive weight of the responsibilities you have taken on and the unbalanced burdens, about when things don't turn out the way you want, the way you planned, the way you envisioned, and frustration, disillusionment, disappointment, helplessness, or discouragement set in.

And along with these feelings, let's talk about what she has built as a strategy for emotional containment, for support. What and who sustains her, accompanies her? What is her support network? How does she maintain her role without getting lost in the daily challenge of being there for whatever comes up?

We can broaden the scope of the initiative by considering as a reference the slogan of the celebration proposed by the United Nations (UN): “Rights, justice, and action for and by all women and girls” taking as a premise that rights, justice, and action are part of a whole for the emotional support and mental health of each one of us.

What other thoughts would you add?
Be creative in your answers, it is not necessary to answer any of these questions as a questionnaire, they are guiding questions, the ideal is that you get inspired by the topic and share your impressions with us in the most creative way you can express it.

¿Cómo puedes participar?

  • Escribe un (1) post o sube (1) vídeo en nuestra Comunidad Holos&Lotus cuyo contenido aborde el tema del "Día de la Mujer".
  • También puedes publicar desde @liketu y compartir imágenes propias relacionadas con el tema, con un texto explicativo/ reflexivo que cumpla con las reglas comunitarias.
  • Debes escribir un texto original en español, inglés o ambos, con una extensión mínima de 500 palabras por idioma, puedes incluir otro idioma siempre que acompañes la traducción en inglés o español.
  • El texto o contenido del vídeo puede ser de cualquier género (poesía, narrativa, ensayo, cuento, etc.) y estilo (humorístico, dramático, inspirador, ficción, etc.), siempre que sea respetuoso y pertinente con el tema, además de ser respetuoso de los derechos de autor, para lo cual te pedimos tengas cuidado señalando las fuentes de las imágenes y recursos que uses para apoyar tu publicación.
  • Invita al menos a dos Hivers a unirse a esta iniciativa.

How can you participate?

  • Write one (1) post or upload one (1) video to our Community Holos&Lotus with content related to the theme of “Women's Day”.
  • You can also post from @liketu and share your own images related to the topic, with an explanatory/reflective text that complies with the community rules.
  • You must write an original text in Spanish, English or both, with a minimum length of 500 words per language, you can include another language as long as you accompany the translation in English or Spanish.
  • The text or content of the video can be of any genre (poetry, narrative, essay, short story, etc.) and style (humorous, dramatic, inspirational, fiction, etc.), as long as it is respectful and relevant to the theme, as well as being respectful of copyrights, for which we ask you to be careful to indicate the sources of the images and resources you use to support your publication.
  • Invite at least two Hivers to join this initiative.

Será un honor participar en una iniciativa dedicada a un ser humano especial, único y tan hermoso que es capaz de eclipsar cualquier problema con su belleza.

Por una mujer nací, varias mujeres me han dado mucho amor y, con una mujer he vivido los mejores días de mi vida.
