Some of the plants we have here at home, but near my room, are a total surprise to see how quickly they're growing

A tragic start to the week for Venezuelans 🇻🇪 as the death toll continues to rise from the earthquakes that struck our country last Wednesday. We are sending our strength and condolences to the families of the victims and also trying to support those who are still alive but lost everything they had worked for. Before I begin this post, I want to thank God that we weren't as severely affected, but there are fellow Venezuelans who are going through a very, very difficult time.

Today, while at home, I took a look at the plants we have here. Some are easy to see, but others require a bit more effort to reach because of their location. One example is this sweet pepper plant, which my father planted several months ago, and now we're starting to see the results of his hard work: a harvest of five peppers so far.

Then, near it, more specifically next to the one I mentioned earlier, some yucca plants are starting to grow very well. They're close to my room, as are others nearby that might need a little more time before we can enjoy the harvest, but surely we will, God willing.

Also very close by, and as I said before, are these banana plants. We're about to harvest their bunches, perhaps next week, since we have to wait until they're a little more developed. There are three in total, plus another one a little further away, but without a doubt, this is the best part that nature can offer us, especially those of us who, in this case, are always given the opportunity to harvest, so that we too can enjoy fresh food.
