My cousin's new pet, which she spotted when she went to where she keeps her turtles. A pleasant surprise//La nueva mascota de mí prima que vio al momento de ir a dónde tiene a las tortugas. Una grata sorpresa

Grateful to share a new post here in the #hivepets community where I share some photos I took a few hours ago while visiting my cousin who, very early in the morning, found a surprise when she went to give her turtles some water. It was a very pleasant surprise, as there was a small one nearby and immediately made her way to an old shoebox which, for the time being, will be her home until she grows a little more and can be taken to where the others are.

Agradecido por compartir una nueva publicación aquí en la comunidad #hivepets dónde les comparto unas fotografías qué tomé hace unas horas al visitar a mí prima quién bien temprano en la mañana se encontró con una sorpresa al momento de ir a colocarle un poco de agua a las tortugas qué tiene, sin duda una muy agradable y es qué estaba una pequeña allí cerca e inmediatamente apartó hacía una caja de zapatos vieja la cuál por los momentos será su casa hasta qué crezca un poco más y llevarla hasta dónde se encuentran las otras.

Now I have a question, just like her, because I didn't see any eggs or anything that could indicate that one of her turtles was a mother. But the really important thing was that they saw her and took her out, since the others there are very big, so there was a risk that they could accidentally hurt her. That's why they moved her to that safer place. I don't know how many days old she is, but it's good to see them reproducing.

Ahora tengo una duda al igual qué ella debido a qué no vió huevo alguno ú algo qué pudiera indicar qué una de sus tortugas fuera madre pero lo realmente importante fué qué le vieron y la sacaron ya qué las otras qué se encuentran allí son muy grandes por lo qué se corría el riesgo de qué le pudieran hacer daño sin querer, por eso le apartó y tiene en ese lugar más seguro, no se cuántos días tendrá de nacida pero es buena verlas reproducirse.

Also, one detail she mentioned, which I'm not sure is true, is that it's a female turtle because her chest is flat, unlike males who have a slight curve in that area. I'm not very knowledgeable about this, so could someone please tell me if this is correct or if I'm mistaken?

Además un detalle que me dijo y no sé realmente si es la verdad es qué es una tortuga hembra debido a qué su pecho es plano y se diferencian de los machos ya qué estos poseen una pequeña curvatura en esa zona. No conozco del tema así que alguien me diga si es cierto ú estoy equivocado en ese aspecto.
