This is a very sensitive topic, because online we'll always find those who want to take what we've worked so hard to accumulate. So, let's just say there's no magic bullet, and at the same time, all of us are potential victims, even the most careful; in other words, no one is immune to being scammed.

I generally try not to communicate with anyone online, and especially not to give out personal information. I also never open strange links without a sender, unless they offer information that could help me get extra money or some other great opportunity. Another important tip is to keep my passwords off my cell phone so that, if I become a victim, it's difficult to carry out the transactions that could potentially leave me without my money.

Right now here in my country, Venezuela 🇻🇪, there are a number of scams, but they aren't exactly online. They're carried out through phone calls, where scammers sometimes impersonate members of the country's security forces or bank employees. They try to steal information that will allow them to withdraw money from accounts or call family and friends to ask for money. It's very common for inmates to use these scams to try to get, let's say, easy money.

I'm not one to give advice to anyone, but simply be wary, especially when something seems too good to be true and promises quick profits. It could very well be a scam. So far, I've never been a victim of these scammers, but as I said, no one is immune, and we could fall victim at any time. Therefore, we should never think we're infallible, and staying vigilant is the best option for our safety.
